COVID

me: Well, most people suggest COVID is about the virus or the pandemic. 

Burt: Or some people who knew Sammy actually thought the song was about Chad because he died during the pandemic. But that doesn't wash either because he didn't have COVID.

me: The song is, once again, about Jeremy. The entire single couplet is about the time I was supposed to see Jeremy, but didn't. COVID was about how Chad & Jeremy saved me from my idiotic therapists, so the therapists are the doctors I was singing about. But I was never able to see Jeremy and make that experience complete because he had COVID. 

Burt: And, judging by his Facebook posts, he took it surprisingly well. 

me: Yeah, he said it only felt like a bad cold. That's kinda unlikely for someone his age. 

Burt: But you did meet him, huh?

me: Yeah I did. It was amazing and he was a sweetie. But I did embarrass myself a couple of times.

Burt: Well, he didn't really like me, so I'm glad he at least enjoyed meeting you. 

me: Any requests?
