Once Upon a Dream

me: This was another obvious choice for our Disney hits collection. It's the best song in Sleeping Beauty. 

Burt: And it's one of my favorites of our covers. Mostly because Sammy and I both struggled getting it right. I mean, she had to sing like Aurora.

me: *laughs* Yeah. Mary Costa's got such an operatic voice. I'm able to sing like that, but it's hard to nail it like she did. 

Burt: Mary is actually still alive today, so we'll give her a shoutout in case she ever hears our version of Once Upon a Dream. And she'll soon be working with us in our story Hijinks, Holdups and Harrows. 

me: Yeah. On the whole, it was fun to sing like her and listen to Burt try to do Prince Philip.

Burt: I could never sing like Prince Philip. His voice was mesmerizing.

me: Well, at least you share a birthday with his actor.

Burt: I do?

me: Yup! 

Burt: Oh my gosh! 

me: *laughs* Any requests out there, y'all?
