me: Jill is probably our first parody. At least together.

Burt: Yes. We wanted Jill, Chad Stuart's wife, to be on our stories more often. But we knew about how scared she gets on stage.

me: And yet, she's used to having eyes on her. *laughs* She's a model for crying out loud!

Burt: So we came up with the song to encourage her. Now she listens to it before she does a scene with us.

me: I also wrote it because I think she should have done more than just that one single with Chad.

Burt: And she did. With us!

me: Yeah, and she's become a regular in my stories. And she's appearing in the next installment of Jelly Side Up! when it comes out.

Burt: So the song was a hit. I still love it.

me: Me too. I sang it live for my friends in high school and they wouldn't stop singing the opening line, "Jill, you're hiding in the dressing room again."

Burt: *laughs* That's great.
