me: We don't often sing a French song.
Burt: Well, to be fair, we weren't the ones singing it.
me: Right! This track featured Adèle Exarchopoulos, a great French actress.
Burt: When she can speak English. When we worked with her on our film Heart Beets, she had a translator with her. Sometimes when we talked to her, she'd stumble on her words and ask her translator guy how to respond.
me: Nevertheless, she was so sweet. We had her sing on this track because she was gonna sing it in the film. So it was really a promotion for her appearance on Jelly Side Up!.
