Burt: This is actually one of my favorites on Holy Caped Collaboration!. It was originally Rescue Me by Sabrina Carpenter. Is that her name?
me: Yeah. We actually used the parody from one of my old stories A Truly Evil Orphanage. And I understand that it's one of Jill's favorites of my stories/movies. So that's why she sang it.
Burt: She actually wanted to do it, didn't she?
me: She did. Ya see, when she first meets the Three Warriors in my stories, Deric McCabe, Levi Miller and me, they have an awkward start. In fact, Calvin, Levi's character, doesn't like Jill at all when he first meets her. But in real life, Jill became fast friends with Levi and she admired his performance in the Rescue Me scene of A Truly Evil Orphanage. So that's why she wanted to sing it here.
Burt: But we did have to change it a little.
me: Yeah. In the film, Levi sings it after he gets captured by the evil orphanage owner and he's waiting for me and Deric (mostly me) to come save him.
Burt: So we had to change the lyric so Jill would be singing about Chad instead of Sammy.
me: So there you have it. It actually still holds up. I still love it.
Burt: Me too. Any requests?
