Chapter 48
(Luke's POV)
I woke up to a cold feeling on my face. I open my eyes and sit up shouting. Ice is surrounding me and water is dripping off my face. Ashton is filming this, Calum and Michael are laughing so hard that Calum's face is red.
"Why did you have to wake me this way?" I ask.
"We have to leave in 20 minutes and you weren't waking up."
"Couldn't a, 'Hey Luke we gotta go, wake up' do the trick?"
"Michael don't worry, he is just cranky because him and Jenn got in a fight yesterday."
"Again? You guys don't have like the small fights all the time, it's just one big fight every once in a while. What did you losers fight about?" Michael asks.
"I don't want to talk about it. I need to get ready."
"Jenn said that she wanted to stay here in Chicago because they moved here a few months ago and Luke overreacted and took it the wrong way. He thought that she rather spend time here in Chicago then spend time with him. So he walked out of the room and came over-" Calum started.
" Calum, for f*cks sake, stop talking about it," I snap.
I walk into the bathroom and wash my face and brush my teeth. There were clothes on the counter that had a post it note with my name on it. I put the grey sweatpants on and the muscle tee with a dinosaur on it. I chuckle at the dinosaur and put my socks on.
"Luke...are you gonna talk to Jenn before we leave for one more month?" Calum says opening the door.
I grab my suitcase and put my toothbrush in it. I lift up the handle and begin rolling out of the bathroom and past Calum.
"Luke! Answer me," Calum shouts.
"She can wait a month Calum."
I walk out the door and slam it behind me. I walk past my apartment without even thinking of knocking on the door and talking to Jenn. I walk down the stairs with my suitcase.
I started to realize that it was a mistake to get CoCo when I knew that we would be on tour. I should've bought her after I came home from tour. I don't think the poor puppy even knows who we are. There was a car waiting for me outside. I hand my bag to the driver and get in the back. I look up from my window to see Calum looking down from the balcony at the car.
"Where to Mr. Hemmings?"
"Hi or Hey Records."

"Luke? Why are you here? You have a flight in 10 minutes!" Cathy says to me.
"Who has CoCo?" I ask, ignoring her question.
"Ted has her down the hall in his office," she replies.
"Thanks!"
I grab my phone out and contact my security guard.
"Luke?"
"Hey, uhh can you book me on a flight that allows dogs?"
"What? Why is your dog coming on tour?"
"I missed her. She needs some love. C'mon...please?"
"Whatabout Jenn? I heard she is staying in Chicago."
"Yeah, but me and Jenn kinda got into an argument yesterday night. It was either me or her for taking care of CoCo."
"Fine. I'll get you one. Be at Midway Airport in 30 minutes."
"Thanks man, I looovveee you!"
"Yeah just hang up Luke."
I press end call and laugh about what I said to him. I enter the door that says 'Ted Stram' and walked in. CoCo ran up to me in excitement and began jumping up onto my leg.
"Luke? Why are you here?"
"I want to take my dog...on tour."
"Luke, you can't-"
"I already talked to security, they said I could, I have to be at the airport in 30 minutes. Please Ted."
"Her cage is in the back and so is her other necessities."
"Thanks Ted, it really means a lot that you did this. Here," I say, pulling out two hundred dollars.
"No, Luke I can't," he says.
Before he could hand the money back, I ran away into the back room with CoCo and grabbed the bag.
"Luke! Take the money back!"
"Bye Ted!"
I ran out of his office and said my goodbyes to everyone and ran into the back of the car with CoCo and gave the driver the bag.

"Luke Hemmings," I say to the pilot.
"Ah yes! You can step right up and we should be leaving within five minutes. There is someone waiting for you in the jet."
"Thank you! Can I have your name, sir?"
"I'm Ryan," he says shaking my hand.
I set down my luggage on the ground near the jet and grab CoCo and the bag.
"Are you ready to leave?" I ask CoCo.
She barks and runs towards the stairs leading into the jet. I slowly start walking towards the stairs, seeing that the pilot is still talking to someone.
I started to think about who would be in the plane. Ryan did say someone was waiting for me in the plane. It's probably one of the guys, or a security member. The guys are probably still mad at me. They probably won't talk to me tonight at the concert. I have to admit, I was a jerk, but Calum was getting on my freaking nerves.
I walk up the steps into the plane to see the last person I would want to be in a plane with for 7 hours.
"We need to talk," Jenn says, just as the plane door closes.
