Chapter 4
(Luke's POV)
"So tell me about yourself Jenn."
We just got back from getting our schedules and we are wide awake. When we walked in the cabin, everyone was either sleeping or in their rooms doing who knows what. I decided to take this time to get to know Jenn. I'm still mad at the guys for what happened this morning, they pushed my buttons. I'm over with Anne. I need to find someone new and maybe Jenn is that person. I'm going to do whatever I can to get to know her and become her friend. Anything.
"Well I live in Charleville, Australia and after we leave this stupid camp, I'm moving to Sydney. I am the only child of my parents and I'm 18. I like cookies and football or, in America, soccer. Tell me about you Hemmings."
I didn't want to start off the conversation talking about my ex. That would ruin it all. I had to think this through. I have never been so nervous in front of anyone.
"Well I currently live in Sydney, I'm in this band, 5 Seconds of Summer with the rest of the guys who are in this cabin...I am 18 and I have two brothers, Jack and Ben. In a few weeks, I'm leaving this place because I will be touring with One Direction. Yeah, that's me," I say honestly.
"One Direction? Are you serious? They are so hot," she says almost shouting.
"But I'm hotter Jenn, you know that," I say laughing.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night," she says, "But this band your in, 5 Seconds of Summer, I've heard of it before..my friend's younger sister loves you guys. Can I maybe get a picture with you? That sounds so weird."
"Sure! I mean, for your friend's sister," I say nervously.
Jenn gets her phone out and opens the camera app and taps the button to change the camera view. She lifts her phone up and when I look at her phone, I see me and her. I smile without showing my teeth and lift my eyebrows. Jenna smiles, showing her teeth, and she looks so beautiful. Right before she takes the picture I quickly go for a kiss on her cheek. She snaps the picture and smacks my arm.
"Luke, this is for a thirteen year old girl, c'mon."
She holds up her phone once again and we both smile into the camera. She snaps the picture and sends it to her friend.
"Can you send me those? Especially the first one we took?" I said with a smirk on my face.
She starts laughing and gets up and walks upstairs. I sit there for a moment. What did I just do? What if she has a boyfriend? I like her, but it's too early for that. I've only known her for ten hours. I just sit there, on the couch for a minute, enjoying the emptiness, when my phone buzzes.
*Heyy Luke, we need to talk..
Anne Xx*
I reply, *F*ck you,* then delete the conversation.
I get off the couch and walk upstairs towards my room. When I enter, Jenn is sitting on my bed, on her phone.
"You know, I can't send you those pictures if I don't have your number," she says smiling.
She hands me her phone and I quickly put in my phone number and my name with the heart and kissy face emoji.
"Well, I gotta sleep. See ya tomorrow Lucas."
She walks out of my room with a smile on her face, and I fall asleep with one on mine.

"LUKKKKEEEE"
"Who are you and why are you waking me up?" I ask angrily.
"It's Calum and we have to leave to get breakfast in five minutes. Get up man!"
"I don't have to eat," I say lifting my head up and looking at Calum.
"No Luke, you have to eat breakfast. We need to leav-"
"I'll get him Calum, it's fine," someone says through the door.
Jenn. Calum looks at me with a annoying face and moves is eyebrows up and down. He thinks I like her. Well, he is right, but I'm not telling him for a while.
"Shut up," I mouth at him.
"Byeeeeee," Calum says laughing and walking out of my room.
Jenn jumps onto my bed and I start bouncing off the bed. I plot my face on my pillow and close my eyes. Seconds later, the bouncing stops.
"Jenn? You still there?"
There was no sound. I lift my head up and look around the room, I didn't see anyone. I push the duvet off my tired body and place my feet on the floor. I hear a phone notification go off and I run to my phone on the table next to my bed. It wasn't my phone. I look over to the closet door as the sound occurs again.
"Jenn?"
I carefully walk over to the closet, afraid of what is going to happen to me in the next few seconds. I place my hand on the knob of the door and carefully open it. No one is in here...
"AHHHHHHH" Jenn screams from in front of me.
Jenn jumps onto me from behind the clothes and I literally scream like a girl. We both fall onto the floor laughing so hard. Jenn gets up and puts her hand out in front of me for help. I take her hand and I get up.
"Jerk," I tell her.
"Well..yeah. I gotta go do my hair, i'll meet you in the living room in five?" she asks.
"Sure, bye."
She walks out of my room and I close the door. In five minutes, I change clothes, brush my teeth, and fix my hair. I hear a phone ring again, and it's not mine. I go into my closet and see Jenn's phone on the floor. I lift it up and see her friend, Lena, texted her.

I slide the button across the screen and it unlocked without a password. I'm gonna regret this. Once the screen unlocks, I see her wallpaper.
The selfie we took yesterday when I kissed her cheek.

I'M ALIVE. SORRY I'VE HAD TOO MUCH SCHOOL WORK AND I WANTED TO BURN IT. This seems like a boring chapter tbh. FYI if you're reading this, you are beautiful and you mean something to someone, so if you are in a few problems, find a way to solve it! Don't do anything you will regret when you're older.
