"So... what now?" Gwen asked, her voice carrying a sense of curiosity. I pondered for a moment, gazing out of the window. "Mm, I kinda wanna explore this dimension's New York, not gonna lie," I admitted, envisioning the unknown wonders that awaited us in this alternate version of the city. Gwen's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Sure, why not!" I was taken aback by her immediate enthusiasm. "Huh, what?" I responded, somewhat surprised by her eagerness. She leaned in closer. "Let's head out! You can practice swinging at the same time. Don't worry, I'll catch you if you miss," Gwen reassured me, trying to ease the reluctance in my eyes. I hesitated for a moment, torn between my apprehension and her boundless excitement. "Just for a while, okay?" I finally relented, her enthusiasm proving contagious. She playfully pressed her finger against my forehead. "You say that, but I'll make you fall so hard that you wouldn't wanna stop." Gwen began to walk away, her enthusiasm undiminished. "Meet up on the roof in 15!" she called over her shoulder, waving as she went. "Wait, why 15 minutes?" I asked, confused by her choice of time. Turning the corner, Gwen replied, "I'm sticky from earlier. I don't wanna go out with you like this." I couldn't help but chuckle. "But I'm sticky too?" I shouted after her. Her response floated back to me. "It's different!"

...

— I arrived on the roof early, taking in the view and the anticipation of our adventure as I waited for Gwen. She eventually made her entrance, and I couldn't help but tease her, "You said 15." Gwen brushed her hair back and laughed. "Hey, I need time if I wanna look good." I raised an eyebrow, a bit baffled. "But you're just going out with me." She fell silent for a moment, her face turning a shade of red. "That's exactly why..." Gwen trailed off, clasping her hands together, her voice soft and slightly hesitant. I couldn't help but be curious. "What?" I asked, trying to understand her train of thought. Gwen cleared her throat, suddenly eager to change the subject. "It's nothing! You ready?" She exclaimed, waving her hands in front of her as if to shake off the previous conversation. I smirked, her momentary vulnerability endearing. "Not really, let me just hype myself up a bit," I replied with a grin.

...

"Come on, Miles... we don't have all day. You've been doing this for 5 minutes already," Gwen impatiently exclaimed as we stood atop the rooftop, the city skyline sprawling before us. "Okay, okay, gimme a couple more seconds to get ready here," I pleaded, trying to stay calm as Gwen playfully tapped her foot. I began a mental checklist to make sure everything was in order. "Webshooters, check. Suit, check. Money from Miguel, check," I muttered to myself as I constantly patted my pockets. On my way up to the roof, I had bumped into Miguel, who asked where I was going. I told him I was going out for a swing with Gwen, and he suddenly passed me some cash while grinning, it was odd to say the least but I appreciated it nonetheless. "Okay, okay, here we go~!" I exclaimed, trying to psyche myself up. However, before I could prepare myself, I suddenly got an unexpected push, and the world rushed past me as I plummeted off the roof. I screamed in terror, instinctively pressing my webshooter. A line shot out and found purchase on a nearby building, saving me from an embarrassing fall. I swung forward, letting out a sigh of relief as I caught myself. "Life-threatening circumstances, am I right?" Gwen quipped as she swung gracefully past me. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "Haha, very funny," I replied sarcastically. Gwen laughed, her voice full of exhilaration. "Just keep up with me," she teased, her excitement infectious as she swung ahead of me.

— Swinging through the futuristic city of Spider-Man 2099 was an exhilarating experience. The city was a stunning blend of advanced technology and towering skyscrapers. As I swung through the bustling metropolis with Gwen, I passed flying cars whizzing by, leaving neon streaks in their wake. The buildings reached up into the sky, their surfaces adorned with holographic billboards, glowing advertisements, and interactive displays. The architecture was a fascinating mix of sleek, curved structures and angular, futuristic designs. The entire city seemed to pulse with energy, and the streets below were filled with people in advanced clothing, their faces illuminated by holographic screens and AR interfaces. Swinging between buildings, I couldn't help but be in awe of the advanced civilization Miguel was protecting.
