"My dear Kim Taehyung!"

"Good evening, Jiho," he replied.

The man waved at us to join him, striking curious looks. I walked behind the brunette, a bit scared. I had to pull myself together; my boss was potentially in danger, as always, so I had to stay alert, no matter what.

Once we reached the table, my superior and I sat side by side, after we bowed at the man in front of us. He was alone, but I quickly noticed a man in a dark suit at the back of the restaurant, staring at us.

His bodyguard.

I saw from Taehyung's eyes that he also noticed him. Was it really a business dinner or was it more of a game to show who was the most powerful? I still relaxed when I realized there was only one bodyguard. But I shouldn't let my guard down; he may have sent several men around the restaurant as my boss had said.

Jiho was slightly smaller than us in size. He didn't have a lot of hair, a chubby, glossy face, and he was pretty fat. He wore a suit that squeezed his graceless body.

"So Taehyung! How have you been doing all this time?" he laughed heavily.

"Good. I guess you're doing well, too," my boss replied calmly.

The man's small black eyes suddenly analyzed me keeping a stupid smile on his face.

"And you must be the little Jungkook."

Little?

"Y-yes. Nice to meet you."

"Oh! What a lovely voice," he muttered.

I frowned for a second and bit my lip. This evening promised to be difficult. Taehyung gave me a quick glance and I saw a bossy glimmer in his eyes that meant I should keep my mouth shut and not rebel, as he told me in the car. I sighed quietly and he seemed to hear my slight protest as he clenched his jaw tightly. I laid low, ashamed that he heard my insolent reaction.

"What do you want to eat? It's on me!"

"I can pay for me and Jungkook, don't bother," my boss replied.

I had no physical reaction, but deep down, I was pleased that my boss offered to pay for me. It was natural since he had brought me here himself - under Jiho's request - but I couldn't help feeling a bit happy.

"I'm rich, Taehyung. Let me treat you."

"I am too."

I shuddered. I never really thought about it, even though I knew he didn't have any financial problems. But I had no idea he was that wealthy. So... was he really rich? I mentally hit myself. Of course he was! He had collaborators all over Asia and was at the head of the ring.

Jiho burst out in a rude and unpleasant laugh.

"Always such a joker, Tae Tae! I'm treating you, no more arguing."

He was clearly provoking my boss by giving him that kind of nickname. I saw him reacting badly; a shiver ran through him. He was clearly refraining from beating the life out of him.

"Okay, then I'll have the chicken and beef skewers," Taehyung said, putting away the menu card.

"What about you, Jungkookie?" Jiho asked.

I looked up sharply when I heard the nickname. How disgusting it was coming from this man. I felt nauseous. Taehyung gave me an insistent look. I refrained myself from answering insolently, feeling the brunette's heavy gaze beside me.

"I... Bulgogi will be fine," I whispered gently not really looking at the menu.

"Waiter!" he then shouted.
