"Hello, Jimin? -Jungkook! You need to come to the club right away."
The next morning, after spending the afternoon looking for a mask with Daejung - a mask I had found - Jimin called me at around eight o'clock. I didn't understand why he seemed so distraught; clearly something was wrong.
"But w-why? Taehyung didn't tell me to come... -I know, it's me who wants to see you. Exactly, Taehyung is not here at the moment."
"But I... Finally- -You and I need to talk. It's urgent." I frowned. Why did he seem so panicked?
"About what...? -I'll tell you all that there. -Can't we meet somewhere else? -I'm back on duty in less than an hour, I can't leave the box..."
"But I just learned something. So we need to talk about it now." I glanced at my watch.
Anyway, I didn't have much planned this afternoon. What I was worried about was Taehyung, but Jimin told me he wasn't there.
"That's okay, I'll be there in about twenty minutes. -Perfect." He hung up without even giving me time to respond. I lifted the phone from my ear, staring at the now black screen. It smelled bad.
"Mom, Daejung, I'm going out! -Where are you going ?" My mother asked me, turning around on the sofa. -I... See Hoseok, my friend from university, you know. -Oh, that's great. Besides, it must have been a while since you last saw him!" She smiled.
Daejung greeted me warmly, and I kissed my mother before leaving, my pace quick.
Something told me that Jimin was going to talk to me about an astonishing and above all worrying subject. I just hoped I wouldn't run into Taehyung.
** "Jungkook? What are you doing here?" Namjoon asked me, the first person I saw when I entered the club.
"Jimin wants to talk to me... Do you know where he is? -In my office I think." I thanked my colleague and he gave me a small smile.
Slowly, I slalomed between the sweating and raging bodies of the box, in order to reach the gray door.
Coming back here felt strange. I hadn't set foot in the box since the day before I left Ulsan.
I slowly opened the door to the office, and discovered Jimin leaning on the wall, biting his nails and staring at his phone.
When I pushed the door open, he looked at me and instantly lifted himself from the wall to come towards me; I even took a step back when his two hands trapped my arms, after putting his cell phone in his pocket.
"J-Jimin?"
"Tell me it's not true," he called out to me. His voice was both harsh and anguished. I definitely didn't understand his behavior. His eyes juggled with mine, his panicked pupils seemed to want to capture my full attention.
"What are you talking about... ?" I almost whispered to try to calm him down. He sighed and let go of me before running a hand over his face.
"Punishment. Tell me that's not true, that Taehyung isn't planning on punishing you."
I froze in shock.
"How's that... ?"
"Yoongi heard him talking with Jin recently. Jin asked that you be punished once you healed, and Taehyung replied that-" He cut himself off by taking a deep breath, then continued:
"He said he was thinking about it." he finally breathed. I pursed my lips as I looked at him shyly.
He analyzed me then widened his eyes.
"What?! Is it true, then?!" He exclaimed, moving quickly towards me.
"Yes... Well, he told me in Ulsan that he would punish me, b-but I... I don't know if it's still relevant or not." The black guy had his mouth half open, his arms dangling.
