"Wake up, damn it, I don't have the day..." I heard him growl near me.
I slowly came to from being shaken and, immediately after opening my eyes , I closed them again because of the light.
"Get up, please. You have to attend the meal, Mr. Kang-Dae asks you."
The first name that had just come out of the mouth of my interlocutor definitely made me open my eyes. I swallowed, my heart pounding. I felt like I had slept forever.
The first thing I knew was that i was in a room. A gigantic room, with white sheets, wooden walls and slightly wooden furniture everywhere, which seemed quite expensive to me.
Everything was clean, so clean that I was surprised.
"Some people are lucky." He whispered as he put some sheets away in a cupboard.
I didn't understand how I ended up here.
"Who..."
Without being able to finish my sentence, I started coughing heavily.
"I put some water on the bedside table for you."
I detailed it while slowly taking the glass of water. He was young: maybe he was my age? His clothes consisted of fairly wide, brown pants, rolled up to his calves. He had socks and no shoes. Finally, he wore a light black knit sweater. He seemed to be in the middle of cleaning.
"You lost your tongue? -Who... Who are you?" I managed to say after drinking some water.
He sniffed, looking at me. His chocolate eyes, which matched his brown hair, kept looking at me for a moment, before answering me.
"Dongwoon. And you're Jungkook. -Yes..."
I placed my feet on the ground.
The contact with the floor seemed to bring me violently back to earth, and what had happened before I fainted, probably, came back to my mind in violent , cruel images, reminding me of the blood , the falling bodies, the Kang-Dae smiles My wide eyes then stared at Dongwoon.
The latter understood what I was thinking. He suddenly showed a compassionate expression but he quickly hid it to put on his neutral and cold face, looking away.
"He... killed, I... -I know."
I looked up at him.
"Follow me. You need to go wash up, then I'll take you to dinner with Kang-Dae."
I froze. My heart raced, my breathing became rare and difficult.
"No... Not with him... I don't want to anymore
-Look, I'll be clear."He came closer to me and knelt in front of my legs. I looked at him, shaking my head slowly in fear, while he frowned, as if he were focused on what he was going to tell me.
"Jungkook. You can't go back, or complain , or cry. It's useless. You need to forget about it now. No, it's not impossible. No, you're not going to end up like them. Kang-Dae talked so much about you, if you only knew. He would never hurt you."
I trembled. I only understood half of what he said to me.
"You owe it to yourself to top that."
Then he stood up, suddenly haughty.
"It's not with your boss who makes you do childish missions that you will mature."
My boss ? Taehyung?
Oh, lord, did he know about all those deaths?
Did he know there were only eighteen men left here?
What about Ava? How was he going to find her?
