Noises of pots, bags and footsteps could be heard in the kitchen; Taehyung was preparing food, while I was comfortably seated on the couch.

I told my mother that I slept at "a friend's" house for this evening, telling her that it wasn't Hoseok to avoid putting me in danger if she decided for some reason to ask the latter if I was spending the night at his place..

An action movie was playing on the television, but I couldn't concentrate to watch it; I even closed my eyes and let my face rest on the back of the sofa to listen to the rain falling on the roof and windows of my boss's house.

I opened one eye to turn down the sound of the film and closed my eyelids again, crossing my arms, my head back against the chair. It was nice.

Once again, the smell of the blond hung in the air and I felt relaxed, safe. I stayed in this position for about ten minutes, slowly beginning to doze off, lulled by the rain and the noise in the kitchen, because it reassured me; knowing it was Taehyung reassured me. He was there with me, and I was going to sleep with him that night. I don't think anything in the world could make me happier.

"Jungkook?" My right eye opened, then the left followed, and I turned slightly, yawning. Taehyung was setting the table.

"It's ready." He said to me. I cracked my back and stood up, nodding my head, my step slow; I almost fell asleep.

I sat down at the table and was a little shy when my superior did the same, facing me. Being in his presence was comforting, yes, but still intimidating.

I began to eat, and soon after, my gaze shifted to the glass of water next to my plate along with two white pills that I now knew all too well.

I glanced at the blond, who was quietly chewing his food while staring at his plate.

Feeling watched, he raised his face towards me and we exchanged a deep, intense look that made my stomach turn. Why did it always have to be like this when we looked at each other? I was sure I was blushing again.

The eldest raised an eyebrow, probably prompting me to speak because I didn't take my eyes off him.

"Thanks for the meal." I just huffed, lowering my intimidated pupils towards said meal.

Taehyung ran a hand through his hair as he placed his metal chopsticks on the table. He grabbed his glass filled with yet another alcohol that I still didn't identify it, and took two small sips.

My eyes looked into his again, dark and severe, so as not to change.

"You can eat better now." He asked me, and it didn't sound like a question. I nodded, realizing that indeed, I almost no longer wondered whether I was going to be nauseous or not, now.

Tonight, I just put my feet under the table and ate, not even worrying about whether the food would go down or not. It was a real relief.

"When it's y-you, I..." I cleared my throat, embarrassed. Taehyung chewed another mouthful as he watched me, obviously waiting for me to finish my sentence. I then continued after a little sigh.

"When it's you, it's okay, I can do it..." Wanting at all costs to avoid his reaction, I lowered my two orbs in shame onto my food. I thought Taehyung wasn't going to say anything, but his voice broke the silence again.

"I know." New redness on my cheekbones.

To regain my composure, I grab my glass of water and my medications, swallowing them with a slight grimace. The blond was staring at me, I could feel it, so I put down my glass and looked at him in turn.

"How was it with Jimin?" He asked me this question while picking yet another piece of beef from his plate. I swallowed my food before answering.

"Yes, he taught me a lot for a first session. And we talked, too." He nodded, attentive, his black pupils on me.
