"I always knew you would end up getting us into trouble, sorry to say it like that."Yoongi spat, glaring.
I pursed my lips, ashamed, and Jimin approached me. He placed a hand on my shoulder, looking at our new interlocutor.
"Jungkook, show him the messages." the dark guy called out to me. I nodded and handed my phone to the oldest in the room, who carefully read my little exchange with the unknown person, who had still not responded to my last message.
I was currently in the room of my two colleagues. Jimin had lent me a red sweatshirt, simple black jeans and sneakers. I was finally properly dressed, ready to begin the phase in which I was supposed to succeed in the mission, and announce it to Taehyung. But I should not hurry; I was still a long way from it.
"You have a message from the boss." Yoongi said coldly, handing me back my cell phone. A rush of adrenaline rushed through me and I opened said message.
By: Taehyung: 'Get back to the hospital right away or it's going to be very bad. I'm not kidding, Jungkook.'
My heart eaten away by guilt and sadness, I typed my response.
To: Taehyung: 'Sir, please forgive me for my insolence. But please trust me. Please.'
He called me after I sent my response. I let my phone ring, and when it finished ringing, I reluctantly put it away. I had also seen a message from my mother waiting, but decided to read it later; for the moment, things were more serious. I looked back at Yoongi and Jimin.
"Did you even eat?" Yoongi asked because he knew I had just gotten out of the hospital. -No... But I didn't f- -Jimin, would you like to go buy some food?"
"Um, yes but... -I would like to speak one on one with Jungkook." The oldest said. The dark guy, astonished, simply nodded his head. I thought I saw a slight blush on his cheeks after the authoritarian tone Yoongi had used with him.
Jimin gave me a slight smile, then an intense look exchanged between him and Yoongi, so much so that I felt all the tension in the room.
Finally, he left the room.
Yoongi then took a seat at the only table in the room. With pursed lips, I invited myself to sit down by pulling out the chair in front of the oldest. The latter stared at me for a moment.
"What exactly do you want from Taehyung?" My body stiffens. I gave him a panicked look, and he sighed.
"Don't look at me like that Jungkook, I see clearly that you're madly in love with him."
"S-Sorry?!" A look of bewilderment took over my features and I shook my face quickly from side to side. He leaned forward, a serious expression plastered on his face. He was very intimidating, too.
"See, it's this kind of behavior that makes Taehyung still think you're a kid." The truth he had just told me made me gasp in astonishment. How could he allow himself to...? Besides, what did he know about Taehyung? He spoke about him as if he had known him for ages!
"You don't know anything about him, how dare you me- 1If you knew." Frowning, I gave my lips a quick lick before answering.
"What, are you going to tell me that you knew him before he created the network, maybe? -Exactly."
My face relaxed in shock at his revelation.
"I wasn't really planning on telling you everything now, but after all why not." he breathed. He cracked his neck slightly, grimacing.
"If I'm going to tell you all this, it's because I trust you, as weird as it may seem to you. You're a kid, you're immature, but you're someone i can trust." I was so upset that I wanted to get up but Yoongi stopped me.
