To: Taehyung: 'I'm sorry for yesterday.'
After sending my message, I pursed my lips and took a seat on the bus, heading back to my mother's house from my workout with Jimin, at the gym this time.
I no longer even felt any aches as I was now so used to it, which is why my friend constantly increased the weights. But my body was now familiar with strength training: I just felt the slight fatigue and my stomach rumbling, but no unbearable pain..
I left Taehyung's house this morning around nine o'clock to, first of all , collect my screening test results; They sent me an email to tell me that I could come pick them up this week.
And. according to my results, everything was fine.
If I had been in a good mood at first , when I went to see Jimin, the guilt had eaten away at me. Because of last night, because of what I said to Taehyung, because of what I whispered in his ear. Not for the simple fact of having said it, but for his reaction, much later.
In fact, after taking his shower, the blond didn't speak to me anymore. We had spent the evening ignoring each other, him with a closed face and me worried, guilty. Even in bed, we didn't touch each other, didn't look at each other, didn't talk. We had simply slept, each on our own. This heavy atmosphere had made me feel bad, very bad.
This morning, when I woke up, I saw him still asleep. Without making any noise I quickly got ready, leaving no words. I didn't really know how to react.
That's why I had just sent him this little message; because I had nothing else to say, precisely. If he had completely ignored me all evening, I had gone too far, right?
It was so frustrating, seeing him envious, wanting me to go further, but still denying me this pleasure. Let him deny himself this pleasure. But I had to respect him, it was just... Hard. Especially when he looked at me last night, after we fought, with his big, surprised and lost eyes. He had cracked me up. Totally.
I ran a hand over my face and sighed, but quickly grabbed my phone when it vibrated. He answered me.
From: Taehyung: 'Where are you?'
I answered quickly, not wanting him to drop his cell phone.
To: Taehyung: 'In the bus. I just finished training with Jimin. I'm going home.'
I glanced at the window, moving my right leg frantically, waiting for his response.
From: Taehyung: 'At your mother's house?'
I smiled slightly.
To: Taehyung: 'Yes. Can I come back tomorrow?'
From: Taehyung: 'If you want.'
I frowned at this unsatisfactory, and even a little hurtful, response.
To: Taehyung: 'I'm so sorry about yesterday, Taehyung. Really.'
From: Taehyung: 'I know you are.'
I took a deep breath. An idea came to me and I smiled softly.
To: Taehyung: 'I didn't tell you this but recently I went to get tested.'
I waited impatiently for his response, response which was slightly delayed; he must surely have been surprised.
From: Taehyung: 'I see. Did you get the results?'
I chuckled. Looks like it worked.
To: Taehyung: 'Yes, this very morning. Everything is fine.'
I brought my right hand to my lips and bit my thumb, a sneer at the corner of my mouth.
God, now that he knew, I wondered what was going to happen.
