Complicated Love (a Bars and Melody fan fiction)

Chapter 19

--------Day 5--------
Today was out last day in France. So we were gathered in reception with all of our bags at 8am. Got to love early mornings.
"Okay so today you get to go in groups of your choice to go shopping, sightseeing whatever you want" Miss Cooper announced. Everyone cheered. We all split into groups and I went with the obvious people: Charlie, Lauren, Leo, Nadine and Imogen. The other groups were: Lottie, Caitlin, Penny, Zoe and Saffron
Holly, Rachel, Sam, Ben and Amber
Connie, May, Kayla, Liam and Luke
Carina, Ryan, Joshua, Kyle and Bailey
Adam, Jake, Reece, Brad and Max.
The teachers were then split between our groups so that there was one teacher to supervise each group. We got Miss Jones, which was good because she was really nice.
"So what do you all want to do?" she asked.
"Shopping!" Nadine squealed.

We spent a few hours shopping and I got presents for my mam and dad and the most beautiful Prada bag ever! I made sure that I didn't buy too much so I could get it on the plane. We then had a McDonalds for lunch before heading to the airport.

I sat in between Charlie and Nadine on the plane home like I did on the way there. Our plane was this really cool one where you could chat with other people on the plane. That was interesting. I got to speak to 'pilot' from seat 33 and a 'Mrs Joe Sugg' from seat 21. Needless to say we had a battle over who Joe's wife really is. (Hint: it's me) But other than that the plane ride was pretty boring.

When I finally got home I wanted to just collapse in my bed. But I couldn't because Lauren came round. I made us cups of tea then we sat on the sofa to have a gossip.
"Are you sure you definitely want to keep the baby?" I asked.
"Yeah" she nodded.
"How are you going to tell your mam?"
"I have no idea" she replied hobestly.
"Do you want me to be there for support?" I smiled.
"Yeah please" she whispered.
"Let's go tell her now" I told her.
"No I can't. I'm not prepared" she shook her head.
"The longer you leave it the more upset she'll be that you didn't tell her" I encouraged. Reluctantly she agreed.

"Kira" Lily ran and greeted me as soon as we entered Lauren's house. I picked her up and placed her on my hip.
"I missed you" she smiled.
"I missed you two" I replied.
"Lily go play upstairs" Lauren sighed. I put her down and she ran upstairs.

We had a general conversation with Lauren's mam before we approached the subject.
"Mam there's something I need to tell you," Lauren started. "I'm pregnant" Her mam's face looked shocked.
"Are you keeping it?" she asked.
"Yeah" Lauren nodded.
"I'll support you all the way" Her mam smiled.
"I love you so much" Lauren stated before giving her mam a hug.
"I should probably get home" I excused myself before leaving. I left them to make their plans.
