Chapter 8

I waited for his reaction.

"Do you still cut?" he asked sounding concerned.

"No I stopped" I nervously replied. He hugged me tight.

"It's okay" he whispered in my ear. "I won't let anyone or anything hurt you now" I felt safe in Charlie's arms. He had his arms tightly wrapped around my waist. I cried into his shoulder. We stayed like that for a while until we finally pulled apart. He gently wiped the tears from my cheeks. He placed his soft lips on mine and gently kissed me. I kissed him back. He pulled away first. He smiled at me and his adorable dimples become very apparent.

"I'm just going to go and sort out my face" I smiled.

"You don't need to, you are beautiful" he smiled at me. I could feel my cheeks blush.

"Cringe!" I laughed. "But seriously, I've just been crying and my mascara is running, I need to go and sort my makeup out" He slightly chuckled. And I quickly walked to the bathroom just outside the living room. I stood by the sink and looked in the mirror. I looked terrible! My eyes were red and puffy and I had mascara running down my cheeks. I don't think that I've ever looked worse. I got a makeup wipe out of the cabinet and took all my makeup off. I then splashed my face before drying. I couldn't be bothered to do my makeup as that would involve going upstairs, so I just went back to join Charlie in the living room. I cuddled up with Charlie on the sofa and put on a movie.

We had just finished watching a second movie, when it was getting late and Charlie decided that he should get home.

"I'll see you tomorrow" Charlie smiled as we stood at the door saying goodbye. He leaned in and kissed me. Every time he kissed me it was magical. We both pulled apart at the same time.

"See you tomorrow" I said smiling. With that he left. The rest of the night was a bit of a daze. I had tea, showered then went to bed. But the whole time I did all of that the only thing that was on my mind was Charlie.

"Kira! Kira! Are you even listening to me?" Lauren's voice pulled me out of my daydream. I was on the bus physically but in my mind I was somewhere else. "Kira!"

"Yeah?"

"Your miles away! You weren't even listening to me!" She moaned.

"I was" I argued.

"Then what was I talking about?" She asked smuggly.

"Uh...Leo?" I questioned.

"No. I was talking about Joe Sugg's latest Sugg Sunday Special!" She exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh! I can't believe he's releasing a graphic novel!" I exclaimed.

"Ikr! I'm so excited!" Lauren practically screamed.

"Woah calm down! Save your fangirling for your bedroom!" I laughed. I was about to continue the conversation about Joe Sugg, but then the bus came to a stop outside school.

"School: where students go to loose all happiness and learn to hate their lives" Nadine sighed. I slightly chuckled.

As we got off the bus Nadine and Imogen cane rushing over to us.

"Kira! Have you been on Facebook yet today?" Nadine asked while Imogen stared at me.

"No why?" I asked confused.

"Just a hilarious cat video that's all" Imogen nervously laughed.

"But you wouldn't like it" Nadine quickly said. They were both acting very suspiciously and I knew something was up. I was about to look on Facebook to see what was going on when the bell for school went.

"Come on we have PE first" Lauren sighed while rolling her eyes.

It was now break one and I knew that I needed to see what was  on Facebook because everyone had been acting strangely around me today. It was like they were all stepping on egg shells around me. I went into the cafeteria to see Lauren, Nadine and Imogen already sat down at a table. I went and sat down with them and pulled out my phone our. I started loading up my Facebook app.

"Stop being so anti-social Kira!" Imogen laughed nervously.

"Come on we just need to tell her" Nadine sighed. "She's going to find out at some point no matter how hard we try to hide it"

"I'm going to find our what?" I questioned. Lauren turned her  phone round to show me. It was on Facebook. When I saw what was on there my heart shattered...

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't updated in ages it's just ice had a but of writers block :( I've updated again though! I like leaving everyone on cliffhangers :) What do you think is on Facebook?
