Chapter 15

A month and a half passed since my dad's welcome home party happened. Nothing had really happened except from Nadine turned 16. She didn't want to do much for her birthday. So, we just went ice skating and then for a meal. And by we I mean Nadine, Lauren, Imogen, Charlie, Leo and I. Charlie and I had also gone on some more dates in that time but that was it. Nadine and I had talked more about what she whispered to me, but ultimately we decided that it was none of our business. But today was the day of our school trip to France. Our 5 day holiday.

--------Day 1--------

I woke up at 5 am on the Monday that we were leaving. Not by choice. My evil alarm clock decided to ruin my amazing dream about meeting Joe Sugg at a One Direction concert, then getting to go backstage to meet One Direction and 5SOS, who were the opening act. Niall was just about to give me a hug when I woke up.😭😭

I climbed out of bed and made my way downstairs to get breakfast. I then had a quick shower, brushed my teeth, did my makeup and put my hair up into a messy bun. Then, I got changed into my travelling outfit, which was my coca cola top, Hollister jumper (because it was quite cold), leggings, frilly sock and my white converses. I also had my school bag, which had inside my phone, my iPad, my French to English dictionary, my iPod, my camera, headphones, earphones, The Fault in Our Stars book, my homework, my pencil case, my laptop, a small makeup bag, my hairbrush and my chargers.

Once I was ready, I hauled my huge suitcase downstairs into the living room. I checked my phone to see that it was 5:54. I started scrolling through instagram while waiting for Nadine, who was picking me up and taking me to school.

I laughed then got up and pulled my suitcase outside. I didn't need to say goodbye to my mam and dad because I had already said goodbye to them the night before. Nadine's dad helped me put my suitcase in the boot, then I climbed into the back next to Nadine.

Once we got to school, we were a little early. We pulled our suitcases out of the boot, then went to the small hall to be registered. Only a few people were already here. I saw that May and Kayla were here with their friend Connie, who is just as much of a bitch as they are. I also noticed that the twins Amber and Saffron were already here and it looked like they were arguing.

"Who do you think you're going to end up in a room with?" Nadine asked while leaning on her suitcase.

"I have no idea" I replied. That was what I was most worried about. We weren't allowed to pick who we were going in rooms with so we could end up in rooms with anyone.

Nadine and I were just having a conversation when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Hey," I heard Charlie say from behind me.

"Hey" I replied. Nadine just stood there awkwardly.

"We'll I'm feeling awkward" Nadine said.

"Sorry" I muttered while Charlie and I pulled apart. Charlie moved to stand by my side.

Soon enough everyone had arrived and the teachers started registering everyone. I tried to figure out exactly who was going. I knew that in total there were 31 people going. I knew that there were also six teachers. The teachers going were Mr Brown, Mr Morgan, Miss Jones, Mrs King, Mr Tuck and Miss Cooper. Other than those I noticed earlier, I only saw that Liam, Lottie, Caitlin, Penny, Adam and the twins Joshua and Kyle were going.

Mr Brown started explaining the rules to everyone while Miss Jones handed out information folders.

"You can sit with whoever you like on the coach and plane as long as you are sensible," he explained. "However rooms and groups are non-negotiable. Your schedules are non-negotiable. No boys will be allowed on the girls floor and no girls will be allowed on the boys floor. No exceptions. There will be no flirtatious interactions. Even if you are in a relationship with that person. Anyone who disobeys the rules will be punished. And I am required to tell you to have fun. But not to much fun." A buzz of conversation filled the room. I opened my information folder and started flicking through it. It had a copy of the rules, information regarding our flights, emergency information, our schedules, our rooms and our groups. I read through my room information first. I was in a room with Lottie, Connie and Zoe. That was actually a really good room except for Connie. I then read through my group. I was in a group with Bailey, Liam, Carina, Penny, Zoe and Ryan and the teacher leading our group was Mr Morgan. My group could have been better but it was pretty good.
