Complicated Love (a Bars and Melody fan fiction)

Chapter 6

When I woke up the next morning, Charlie still had his arm wrapped round me and the his tv was still on. It seemed like we had both fallen asleep before the end of the movie. I carefully got up without waking Charlie and went into his bathroom to get ready. I wore leggings with a black and white stripped crop top and my leather jacket. Once I was changed I went back into Charlie's room. Charlie was still asleep so I went and sat in front of his mirror and started putting on my make up. I put on concealer, a small amount of powder and cherry Babylips. I then brushed through my hair and wore my bandanna. Once I was ready I checked the time and saw that I was 9:30. I sighed then started checking my social medias.

Once I had checked every social media I had, I decided that it was time to wake Charlie up.

"Charlie" I whispered softly. "Charlie. Charlie wake up" This time I spoke a bit louder. He stirred slightly but didn't wake up. I tried to make him several more times, but in the end I gave up and started to shake him. Eventually his eyelids opened to reveal his beautiful blue eyes.

"Good morning" I smiled. He sat up.

"Good morning" he smiled. He looked at his phone to see what the time was then got up.

"Shall we go and get some breakfast?" he asked. I nodded and followed him downstairs.

When we got to his kitchen, we found that no one was in there. I sat down at the table while Charlie put some toast in the toaster. Once the toast was done, Charlie came and sat down with me.

"You're not really a morning person are you?" I questioned while he sat there eating his toast.

"No, not really" he replied. I laughed a little and he smiled at me. We just sat in silence while we ate our toast. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out to see that I had a text from my mum.

Mum:

Morning sweetie x You're dad and I are off on a business trip now we'll be back in a week :( See you soon xxx

I sighed at the text message. But as my mum would say business comes first. I saw that it was 11am and I had shopping plans with Nadine at 12.

"I'm sorry but I should go I've got plans with Nadine today" I said while frowning.

"Oh. Well I'll walk you out" he said. He took my hand and walked me to the door. He gently kissed me on the lips. Our mouths started moving in sync. We both pulled away at the same time.

"Love you beautiful" he said as I walked out the door.

"Love you two" I replied. With that I walked up his drive and down the street to my house.

The rest of the holidays went quickly. Before I knew it, 2014 was over, it was 2015 and we were going back to school. Once I finished doing my make up and pinning the last strand of my hair back I ran out the door to get to the bus stop. I got on the bus, put my earphones in and sat in my normal seat at the middle of the bus. When the bus got to Lauren's stop I took my earphones out and waited for her to come and sit down. When she sat down I turned to see that she had died her hair a deep mahogany.

"When did this happen?" I asked.

"Yesterday actually. I wanted my hair look more natural again" she smiled.

"So you're trying to impress Leo?" I laughed. She giggled sheepishly. We spent the rest if the bus ride catching up even though we had only just seen each other a couple of days ago. When we got to school we went to find Imogen and Nadine. We greeted Imogen with a big hug because we hadn't seen her other the holidays because she was skiing in the Alps. As we were all catching up with Imogen someone came up and wrapped their arms around my waist. I turned to see Charlie. We enjoyed a long passionate kiss until. Nadine started awkwardly coughing. We pulled apart. He quickly went to find Leo.

As Imogen, Nadine, Lauren and I were all talking, May and Kayla came up to us.

"Hey Kira. How's lover boy?" Kayla smirked meanly. I just ignored her and tried to continue our conversation.

"You know he doesn't love you" May grinned. "He told me that last night after we, well you know..." I turned to look at her. Her make up skills didn't get any better over the holidays. "You know he's really good in bed. Oh you wouldn't know because he's just using to look good. We all know that you're just a pathetic virgin that NO ONE likes!" she laughed. Before I knew it I was going to hit her. Lauren and Nadine grabbed my arms and held me back. I started screaming at her while she just stood there laughing. Why did I let her get to me?
