Chapter 22

I woke up earlier than usual and I was happier than ever that it was Friday. Because even though I had school, I had a whole weekend of fun ahead of me. Plus, today was my 16th birthday. I quickly got dressed and ready then I ran downstairs.

Mam and dad were sat in the living room waiting for me.
"Happy birthday!" they shouted as soon as I walked in. They gave me a hug then gave me my presents. I unwrapped my presents to reveal an iPhone 6 plus and a Polaroid camera.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I thanked them profoundly.

When I got to school I went to meet with my friends. They all stood with big birthday bags and balloons. They all ran over to give me hugs.
"Happy birthday!" they all shouted while engulfing me in hugs. After a minute of hugs everyone gave me presents. Lauren and Leo gave me a big blue glittery birthday bag and a peppa pig balloon, Nadine gave me a small black birthday bag, Imogen gave me a small pink birthday bag and Charlie gave me two big 1 and 6 balloons and a big pink birthday bag.
"Thank you guys, I love you" I smiled. With that the bell went and I had to go to lesson.

At break one we all sat up at the top field. The whole group ended up being: me, Charlie, Leo, Lauren, Nadine, Imogen, Lottie, Penny, Caitlin and Zoe. They all watched as I opened my presents. From Lauren and Leo I got a framed picture of Lauren's scan, some candles, a pair of earrings and Sprinkle of Glitter's new book. From Nadine I got a pandora charm and from Imogen I got a necklace and a New Look gift card. Lottie got me a pink strappy dress from New Look that I really liked. Penny and Caitlin both got me bath bombs from Lush. Zoe got me some Zoella soap opera and some thorntons chocolate. Finally, Charlie got me a phone case with a photo of us on, a photo album full of all the times we've shared, chocolate and a pandora charm which had our names in a heart engraved in it. I thanked them all. I was really grateful for all of my incredible friends.

After school I walked home with all of my friends. We got back to my house and went up to my room.
"Okay, so shall we all get changed and go in the hot tub?" I asked. Everyone agreed so Charlie and Leo went to get changed in my bathroom while the rest of us got changed in my room.

We all got into my hot tub. We decided to be classy and drank some champagne while in it.
"Cheers" I said while holding out my glass. We all clinked our glasses before downing them. Not as classy. Charlie sat next to me and wrapped his arm around me.
"Okay selfie time!" Zoe squealed while getting her phone. We all got closer together and took the photo.
"Beautiful" Zoe smiled.
"Let me see!" Nadine exclaimed. Zoe showed us all and it was beautiful.

After spending over an hour in the hot tub, we went inside and ordered pizza. We sat down in the living room and started watching a movie. I sat and cuddled Charlie on the sofa.

When the pizza came we decided to start playing Twister. However, this time I wasn't allowed to spin. Due to obvious reasons Lauren was the spinner. It started off easy but soon we were all in awkward positions.
"Zoe can you move your butt out of my face?" Lottie whined. I started laughing so much that I almost collapsed.
"Kira left hand red" Lauren said. There was only one red spot left, which involved awkwardly leaning over Nadine and placing my hand right underneath Charlie's crutch. Lauren burst in to laughter.
"You're just making these up aren't you?" Charlie asked. Lauren replied with laughter.
"Hurry up I'm going to fall!" shouted Caitlin. It was too late. Caitlin collapsed taking everyone down with her. We ended up in a heap on the floor.
"Snapchat photo!" Lauren laughed.

After a while we all got ready for bed and led in the living room watching Twilight. That movie never gets old. It was quite difficult fitting all ten of us in but we managed it. Zoe and Imogen led on the two sofas. Me and Charlie were led vertically by the window with Lauren, Leo and Nadine lying horizontally beside us. Then Lottie, Caitlin and Penny were led vertically on the other side of the room to us.

Charlie wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. I could feel his warm breath on my neck.
"I love you" he whispered in my ear. His breath against my ear sent shivers down my spine.
"I love you two" I smiled.
"I love you more" he whispered.
