In This Darkness-The End

(My story is named after this song and it is my favorite song)

I was lying on the floor, while I opened my eyes. I was in a room and everything was black. I didn't see any object, absolutely nothing, just a black space, which seemed to have no end. I got up slowly from the floor and looked around. Now I was I remembered what happened before I woke up now. Tom was killed, and after that I shot myself in the head and died, but where am I now and where is Tom, do heaven and hell exist, do I belong there  or what.I got up from the floor and looked at myself, seeing that I was clean and in the clothes I was wearing before I shot myself in the head. I raised my head and took a slow and cautious step, but there was nothing and I began to cry . It was also cold and I was afraid.

I held onto my shoulders as I continued to walk slowly around the room, while tears welled up in my eyes. I called out, "Anybody, where am I?" and soon I got an answer. It was a familiar voice, the voice I wanted to hear. I hear his voice. "Lori, is that you?" asked Tom from a distance. I raised my head towards the echo of his voice and shouted "Tom, it's me. Please come and get me!" I shouted as I now shed tears of joy."Oh, my Lori. Just make some noises and I'll find you," he said convincingly and now I want to hug him and never let go. I smiled as tears of joy came to my eyes and I said "Tom, Tom, Tom." I said so that he would find me more easily in this black endless room.This darkness seems to be eating me up, I was very scared and I shouted "Tom, please hurry!" He replied, "Lori don't worry, I'm close." Now I heard his voice closer, but I still didn't see him. I got upset. I'm alone, I don't know if I'm going to him or where I'm going. I panicked and was afraid I wouldn't find him. I stopped and my tears streaming down my face, and began to say "Tom, please."

I felt someone's hands slowly grabbing my waist from my back and pulling me close. I recognized it was Tom. I closed my eyes, while a joyful smile spread across my face, and his warm sigh hit my neck. He whispered in my ear. "Lori, I'm here." and he moved down to my neck and shoulders and left kisses there.Tears of joy choked my eyes, as I twisted and turned to Tom. He was my most beautiful man, my guardian angel, he was in his beautiful outfit that he was in before he died. I put my hands on his face and said "Now we will be together forever." He looked at my lips and then into my eyes he said "Our souls will always travel together.", then he lowered himself onto my lips and we kissed.While we kept our lips together and our eyes closed, some indescribable light hit our faces, and we both parted our lips and looked at that. It hit my face like the sun, and then a beautiful being appeared and sent us the message "Come up follow these steps and you will reach the kingdom of heaven." I looked at Tom and offered him my hand, while he accepted me for it.

The black room disappeared and now we had glass stairs that should lead us to heaven, and around was a clear sky with white clouds. I looked at Tom, while we were holding hands tightly, I smiled at him and said "Now no one can separate us, you and I will be in peace." He squeezed my hand tighter and together we looked at the stairs and headed towards heaven, where our souls will always live in peace.

(Well, we've come to the end of this book that I started writing on July 28th, and now it's October 1st. This was my first book and I didn't think it would take me so long to write it, but it was hard to finish it because I really love writing it .Thanks to everyone who read, it means a lot to me.
