"General, how is the nation out there fairing?" Kokomi asked with a slightly tired tinge in her voice we she jotted down on a paper, sitting at a table idly in a tent.
"News is dormant as before, I'm afraid. I would not like to assume the worst over this silence but I would also like to be cautious, your Excellency." Gorou sighed as he looked out the crack in the tent's exit.
"If you cannot have faith in their promises then have faith in Master Hadeki, General." She giggled.
"I know... it's just- We seized Narukami Island and took control of it...for us that's an enormous feat but we chose to believe the words of the people who brought us to this condition and retreated." Gorou rubbed the back of his head, his ears drooping.
"The clan of Sangonomiya are many things, General Gorou, but we are not conquerors. The resistance one and only purpose of existence was safeguard and fight for the minority of vision bearers and they offered to hear our calls...which has never been done before. With one of their own in our ranks, and a formidable warrior at that, to be fighting with us and securing victory means we have every proof we need to believe in him."
"GENERAL!! GENERAL GOROU!!" A distant yell of a solider could be heard trembling closer and closer.
The two authorities quickly rush outside to see the matter as an exhausted foot soldier reaches them and falls to his knees.
"What's happening?" Kokomi asked.
The man, still panting heavily, pointed back towards the ocean.
"Sh...Shogunate fleet! The Shogunate General is approaching the island!"
Upon hearing this, the two began their descent down to the shores where more of their soldiers were seeing looking on and ready for battle.
As Gorou grouped up and kept tabs on the men around, Kokomi rushed out and stood infront of them to see the situation for herself, sure enough a fleet is making it's way directly towards them.
"Make no drastic moves. Let them come." Kokomi raised her hand back, making the soldiers lower their weapons.
In a short while, the ships hit land and the ramps slam down onto the shores. What appeared on the other end was a sight both astonishing and slightly relieving to the Priestess.
Hadeki Obiyash, wearing brand new and bright colors of the Shogunate uniform, came down the ramp with a smile on his face as he approached the mass of warriors on the other side.
Through them, Kokomi assured her safety then approached him as well as they met at the center of the meeting grounds.
"So, I take it things went well~?" She hummed.
"Quite so. After all of this I took a short but needed vacation, if you did not mind." Hadeki joked.
"Not at all! So long as you brought souvenirs."
"Oh I have brought so much more than that."
Hadeki raised his hand which alerted the rest of the soldiers on the boats who began pouring out in a loud march with bags and crates on their shoulders.
"What's all this now?" Kokomi asked as she watched them work, wide eyed.
"As the current personal guardian of the Raiden Shogun, to compensate for the oppression and and loss you have suffered, I personally came to declare that the Vision Hunt Decree has been abolished and all confiscated visions are being returned by our hand." He announced with a light sigh which felt as though it were a release of an old burden.
