Yeosang continued to follow the male with the cameras making sure to observe all their movements. It was sort of worrying as it was obvious that whoever this was knew their way around the estate. Once the person reached a secluded hallway they took off their hood revealing the back of their head. They then proceeded to take off the rest of the black clothing which revealed a familiar suit that was hidden under it. The male then bunched up the black clothing and turned around revealing their face. "Isn't that Mr. Kyu-ho?" Yeosang said as he turned around to face San.
San was beyond confused, he had known Mr Kyu-ho since he was a kid so why? There was no way that he was the one delivering these letters to Wooyoung. He knew that Wooyoung and San were best friends so why would he do this? It hurt, it really hurt. He felt betrayed, did he make a deal with Ji-yoo? No that didn't make sense he would never make a deal with her family, after all, they had no connections to each other. So then who would he...
No... He didn't make a deal with someone from his family, would he? San felt sick to his stomach as he thought about it. "Hongjoong, Jongho... If possible can you try your best to bring Mr. Kyu-ho and my parents to my office? I'm pretty sure he's here visiting my mother..." San spoke slightly in a daze. The two males just nodded before leaving the room. "Yeosang collect all the camera footage that could be used as proof and Seonghwa can you grab the letters?" San said as he looked at the two males who nodded silently.
The three males waited in San's office trying to comprehend everything. Yeosang and Seonghwa finished reading Wooyoung's diary and most of their suspicions were confirmed. In the diary, Wooyoung mentioned that Ji-yoo was in fact writing notes and that he was confident that someone else was helping her sneak them in yet he didn't mention any people he suspected.
They also proceeded to do more research on the medication Wooyoung was taking. Along with that, they became more aware of Wooyoung's past home life. They all knew his mother was neglectful but they never knew about his father. Yeosang at first thought that Wooyoung's dad left or just wasn't in the picture.
It was heartbreaking, to say the least, their best friend was suffering alone and they had no idea. On the other hand, San who sat at his desk was lost in thought. Did someone hire him to send these letters? If so just who could have hired him to do so? Why would he agree to deliver them in the first place? Did he know about the contents of the letters?
San's mind just continued to race until they were interrupted by the door opening. San watched as Kyu-ho, his mother, and his father walked in with Hongjoong and Jongho by their sides. "San what's going on? Why did you call for us?" His father questioned. It was hard to even look at Kyu-ho without feeling rage burn throughout his entire body.
Without even thinking San stood up from her s chair and blurted out, "Mr. Kyu-ho did you ever deliver any letters to Wooyoung when he lived here?" Everyone froze, no one expected him to get straight to the point. Kyu-ho looked slightly confused as he fumbled with his fingers. "Letters? What letters are you talking about?" Kyu-ho spoke in a confused tone. San looked over to Seonghwa who grabbed the box of letters and shoved it towards Kyu-ho.
"These are the letters he was talking about," Seonghwa said as he glared at the male in front of him. Kyu-ho was about to speak before Yeosang interrupted him, "Don't try and deny it we have video evidence of you handing something to Wooyoung the day he left. Even if it wasn't one of these letters you still gave him something and we need to know what it was."
Kyu-ho's was slightly confused, he looked at the box of letters before pulling one out. San's father was still confused about the whole situation, San's mother on the other hand had looked Guilty and terrified. "I-I'm so sorry..." Kyu-ho said as he read the letter. "She... she never told me what was actually in the letters. She only mentioned that they were private..." Kyu-ho spoke as tears fell down his face.
For some reason, this just infuriated San even more. San's father took one of the letters from the box and read it over, a look of horror appeared on his face. "Kyu-ho. You didn't actually deliver these letters to Wooyoung did you? This is all a sick joke right?" San's father glared at the other male. It was obvious that San's father was getting angrier and angrier with each passing second. San's father adored Wooyoung, not only was the young boy super kind but he was also the main source of his son's happiness.
Everyone in the room was getting more and more pissed at the male. Kyu-ho looked around at everyone's faces before turning over to San's mother whose face went from guilt to anger. "EunHye... When you gave me these letters you never said they were basically death threats..." Kyu-ho spoke causing everyone to turn their attention to the female.
"Mom... what's he talking about?" San questioned the woman. There was no way she gave him these letters. "EunHye, you gave me these letters knowing what was in them right? What... What did you want to accomplish?" Kyu-ho looked at the woman with pure horror on his face.
"EunHye he better be lying. Don't tell me you actually gave him these letters. Did... Did you also write them?" San's father yelled as he took a few steps back from her. San's mother clenched her fist together as she turned toward San's father. "Don't give me that shit. Dammit, we have been married for 17 years and you can't even recognize my handwriting?" She yelled. Was she joking? Was she more concerned about the fact her husband didn't recognize her handwriting instead of the fact that Wooyoung was receiving these letters?
"Mom. Did... Did you really give Kyu-ho these letters to deliver them to Wooyoung? Did you really know about what these letters said?" San questioned his mother. Seonghwa, Hongjoong, Yeosang, and Jongho just stayed quiet. They wanted to comfort their friend but it was obvious San wanted to know about the whole situation.
San's mother stared at her son before speaking, "San don't be naive. I just want what's best for you and we both know that Wooyoung was standing in the way of your happiness. I had to get rid of him so that you could find a nice young girl who you truly love." Her words made Everyone so angry, Yeosang was about to cuss her out before Jongho stopped him. Seonghwa clung onto Hongjoong in order to suppress his anger but it was clear that Hongjoong was having a hard time suppressing his own.
"What did you say," San muttered while looking at his mother. All she did in response was smile before speaking again, "We all know that you had a 'crush ' on Wooyoung but dear it was obvious that it wasn't love. Why waste your time on a stupid boy when you could marry someone perfect like Ji-yoo? It's obvious she likes you just give her a shot."
"EunHye! That is enough-" San's father spoke before getting cut off. "You're telling me that one of the main reasons that Wooyoung left in the first place was because you helped send stupid letters that were slowly destroying him? " San spoke calmly. "Some mother you are..." San sneered as he looked at the woman he called 'mother'.
San's mother scoffed before speaking, "Oh, San grow up. Do you really want to be seen with a boy? You don't want to be a fa-" San had slapped his mother. She held her cheek in shock as she looked up at her son who was towering over her. "You ungrateful brat... I did all of this for you and this is the thanks I get!" She shrieked. She continued to rant about how she sacrificed everything for him before she was silenced.
"EUNHYE!" San's father's voice echoed throughout the room as he yelled at his wife. Everyone was surprised by his sudden outburst, San's father always tried to be calm and coolheaded in arguments. "San... you can do whatever you want to Kyu-ho but leave your mother to me. I'll get the full story out of her one way or another. I promise I won't let her cause any more damage..." San's father spoke in a calm voice.
San knew his father wouldn't hurt his mother, but that doesn't mean he won't ruin her. She is solely dependent on him that's why she tried her best to hide what she did. She knew that if he figured out she took away her own son's happiness he would divorce her and end up taling everything away from her in the process.
It's time you were finally put in your place Mother. You took away my happiness, my everything, my first and last love, My Wooyoung. I will never forgive you for what you did but at the same time... thank you. You helped open my eyes. I won't let anyone or anything stand in my way. You betrayed my trust Mother, but you are also shaping me into the person I need to be. I will find Wooyoung, I don't care what I have to go through.
I will find Him.
