Hope's guilt

It's a new day in LA. Bill, Katie and Brenda enter the Spencer mansion. Brenda looks around and she's shocked. Bill and Katie smile.

Bill: Welcome to your new home... For now.

Brenda: Are you serious?

Katie: Well, me and my husband agreed that you will need the best care and this house is enormous... We will keep an eye on you and at the same time we will all have privacy. Want me to show you your room?

Brenda: Before that... I want to say thank you...

Bill: It's nothing.

Katie: We are the ones that should be thanking you. You are going to give us an incredible gift. I'm so happy that the doctors gave us the green light and that my eggs are still so good. It will work. I'm sure of it.

Brenda: And if it won't?

Bill: We will pay you for your time... Even if it doesn't work.

Brenda looks overwhelmed.

Next scene: Hope is at her home and she looks depressed. She remembers the kiss with Hollis at the beach. She takes a pillow and throws it on the wall.

Hope: How could I be so stupid?! What's wrong with me? 

Liam walks in with his bag.

Liam: Hope? 

He is surprised to see Hope distressed.

Liam: What's going on?

Hope looks at him with tears in her eyes and she runs to embrace him as he looks concerned.

Next scene: Taylor and Finn talk at the cliff house.

Taylor: You are smiling all the time. Such a change now they you could spend some time with your family.

Finn: Yes. It gave me so much energy to be able to be with them... 

Taylor: It also gave energy to Steffy, you know... She loves you so much.

Finn: I wish I could be there for her... 

Taylor: You just were.

Finn: But I mean... Full time. I have to leave my job and go back to Switzerland. When I saw Steffy there I realized I can't let her be alone. 

Taylor: Finn, Steffy doesn't want you to quit your job. To stop helping people that need you. It would make her feel guilty. I wanted to quit my job and be with her and she basically forbid me... And she told me that she hopes that none of us will have an idea like this. She doesn't want all our lives to stop because of what happened to her. 

Finn: That's my wife... Loving and selfless. I love her even more now... And I never knew it was possible.

Taylor smiles gently. 

Next scene: Brenda, Bill and Katie sit on the sofas and talk.

Brenda: The room is amazing. Thank you. 

Katie: You will be feeling at home. 

Brenda: Yes... I already do... You two are amazing. 

Katie: I bet that you must be scared of the procedure and the fact that for 9 months you will be carrying our baby. I hate that I have to ask you to do it, but...

Brenda: I don't... I really need that money. My family is in a horrible place. All I worry about is... How will I be able to work during the pregnancy, but I think that up until the 8th month I should be okay.

Bill: Excuse me? You want to clean up the Spencer building during the pregnancy? There is no way.

Brenda looks concerned.
