Unexpected fury

It's a new day. Taylor, Jack, Sally and Nick are at the Marone estate.

Taylor: It's good to see you feeling better Sally.

Sally: I'm trying to be optimistic. I get a lot of help from you two, my husband, all the family...

Taylor: Brooke? 

Jack: Of course.

Taylor nods.

Jack: I know you don't believe it.

Nick: She does.

Taylor: No, I don't. 

Jack: Mom already told me what you and Steffy said to my mom and Hope... That's not ok. 

Taylor: Of course Brooke had to tell you about it. I'm not surprised.

Jack: Why wouldn't she?

Nick: Okay, I personally believe that you have two fiercely loving mothers. Let's finish it at that.

Sally: I agree.

Taylor: If you think that Brooke is invested in your life then ok... I personally didn't see it.

Jack looks sad and Nick nervous.

Next scene: Liam, Hope, Brooke and Ridge are at the Forrester mansion.

Hope: Thank you for inviting us over. It's nice to catch up.

Ridge: We see each other at work almost everyday.

Hope: Well yes, but we don't have so much time to just talk... At least not always. 

Liam: Ridge, is everything ok? You seem tense. It's not the relaxed Ridge I know. 

Ridge: Yes, we have some problems, but we will get through this. 

Brooke: If Steffy and Taylor will want it. 

Ridge: Don't put it all on them. You and Hope need to put in some work too. 

Hope: We are not the attacking side.

Liam: I don't think I have the full story... 

Hope: Well Steffy and Taylor are angry that mom wasn't happy about Caroline being re-hired.

Liam: Okay, I know that...

Brooke: And they think that I do not love my son Jack.

Liam look confused.

Next scene: Steffy and Finn talk at the cliff house.

Finn: You know you didn't have to be so hard on Brooke, right?

Steffy: I didn't have to, but I wanted to.

Steffy smiles and Finn laughs while messaging her feet.

Finn: You're a real firecracker, you know that? 

Steffy: I do and I also know you love that about me.

Finn: There is not one single thing I do not love about you. 

Steffy smiles and thinks for a moment.

Steffy: I was wondering... 

Finn: About?

Steffy: What it would be like if my parents got back together? Imagine the holidays and birthdays and...

Finn: Steffy... 

Steffy: What?

Finn: I don't want you to be disappointed. Don't imagine something that can't happen.

Steffy puts her feet on the floor.
