Dave's visit

It's a new day in LA.

Brooke is at her home looking sad when Dave knocks at her terrace door and waves.

Brooke: Dave...

Brooke opens the door. 

Dave: I thought that coming through the terrace would be cooler.

Brooke smiles.

Dave: You have an amazing garden. It's the first time I allowed myself to walk around a bit... 

Brooke: Yes, it's a lovely one. I love it.

Dave: Look at you Brooke Logan. From the Valley to this. I'm proud of you.

Brooke: I have been given a chance by the Forrester family.

Dave: Well it's not that simple. 

Brooke: What do you mean?

Dave: You gave your talent to them... The BelieF formula. Remember? Because I remember. It was all over the news.

Brooke smiles.

Brooke: Yes, but if they wouldn't give me a lab to work at...

Dave: Brooke you could do that in every other lab... Nobody else would give the Forresters that formula... And your beauty... It also brought attention to their company.

Brooke laughs.

Brooke: Oh Dave... There are many beautiful Forresters models...

Dave: Nobody shines as bright as you.

Brooke: You came by to compliment me without end?

Dave: Not only. I also came to check on you... And to tell you that your son paid me a visit.

Brooke is surprised.

Next scene: Caroline and Liam talk at the loft.

Liam: I'm glad that I could see Douglas before he went to school.

Caroline: Yes... I hope that you can see him more often now... He is so sad and he needs his family members around... As many as possible and as often as possible.

Liam: Thomas is acting so wrong right now... I shouldn't be surprise.... I mean it's Thomas.

Caroline looks sad.

Liam: Sorry. I know he is young husband and you love the guy.

Caroline: He won't be my husband for much longer. Less than 6 months to be precise. Liam, I don't want this divorce...

Liam: Think about it... He is extremely cold towards you. He basically pushed you away for months... I don't want to say that what you did with Ridge wasn't wrong, but for some reason Thomas isn't even trying to work on things.

Caroline: I know... And I feel like there is a reason for that.

Next scene: Thomas is at the Cuban home looking at his phone. Hope walks into the room and smiles. She walks closer to Thomas and touches his back. He turns around and smiles to Hope.

Hope: I'm so glad you're back...

Thomas: Me too. I just had to make sure we have all the documents we need and I could be back. 

Hope: I was really lonely here... Without any telephone or tv... We really need to get all of it.

Thomas: Of course. Now that I back... I'll look into it... But now all I want is us to spend time together.

Hope puts her arms around Thomas.

Hope: I agree. It's time I open up to you more. You are so extremely kind to me... I have an idea.
