Boat trip

Some time passed. Caroline is alone at the loft and she looks numb. She hears knocking at the door.

Caroline: Thomas?!

Bill walks in.

Bill: The door was open... You hoped that Thomas will be walking though the door? 

Caroline: I actually left them open because Douglas went to a friend that lives next door and he can be back any minute now.

Bill: So Douglas isn't here... You are all alone. 

Caroline: Yes uncle Bill... Why does it matter?

Bill: Because I do not want Douglas or anyone else to hear our conversation... As I came to ask you if you lost your goddamn mind?! 

Caroline looks scared. 

Next scene: Thomas is in his hotel room on and Cuban island. He walks around the room looking sad. He lays on the bed and start remembering how Caroline and Ridge kissed. He closes his eyes and a tear falls on his cheek. 

Next scene: Taylor and Steffy talk at the cliff house.

Steffy: Thomas is already in his hotel... We don't have to worry about him anymore.

Taylor: I disagree. We have to worry because he still isn't here in LA and he still has his marriage problems. Nothing is resolved. To make things even worse he went to the island where Hope died... What kind of message does it send to Caroline?

Steffy: I don't care... She is the one that kissed dad. 

Taylor: I know that what Caroline did was wrong and I told her so myself... But she and Thomas have a son and their future to think about.

Steffy: I am not sure if I want Thomas to have a future with someone that is kissing our dad. 

Taylor: What about Douglas?

Steffy: I really want the best for him, you know that... But it doesn't mean that I want Thomas's love life to be destroyed... Maybe he needs to find another woman? 

Taylor looks worried.

Next scene: Back to Caroline and Bill.

Caroline: I kissed Ridge Forrester... That's what I did and I want to forget about it.

Bill: How? 

Caroline: By not talking about it for a start? Uncle Bill I feel terrible about what I have done... Taylor was here and she told me how bad I am already. I don't need another lecture.

Bill: And what did your husband say about it?

Caroline: He is angry... 

Bill: Rightfully so...

Caroline: And he... Went for a trip. To the island where Hope died. 

Bill: What?!

Caroline: Yep... That's what he did.

Bill: First I was angry at you... Now I'm angry at the both of you... That's so cruel.

Caroline: I know... Considering how obsessed he was with her... It makes me wonder... If he ever got over her. Was I just a rebound?

Bill: I think he simply wants o hurt you for how much you have hurt him... Not that I am applauding him for his behavior... I hate it, but I get it. Does it make sense?

Caroline: It does. I really hope that's the case... Because if he went there because he loves her and can't cope with her death... Then I just lost with a ghost.

Bill: Caroline, he wouldn't go to that island if he wouldn't see you kissing his daddy... So it's not about Hope, but your infidelity. Remember that. What hotel is he in? I am going there to talk to him...
