Thomas is sitting on the beach. Hope comes to the beach wearing shorts and a t-shirt clearly too big for her.

Hope: How do I look?

Thomas: You look... Clean.

Hope: Thanks for giving me your spare clothing. 

Thomas: Thanks God I took it just in case. 

Hope: That dress was very dirty. 

Thomas: What did you do with it?

Hope: Oh I left it in the bush. 

Thomas: We should burn it or something.

Hope: Why?

Thomas: It's a ... Bad memory. 

Thomas looks guilty.

Next scene: Caroline is in the loft looking sad. Diana sits by her side. 

Diana: Hey... It will be fine. You'll see.

Caroline: Thanks for coming... I really have a bad day. Or rather a bad year...

Diana: I will always be here for my bestie.

Caroline smiles.

Caroline: And I will always be there for you.

Diana: I know. You have been there for me... Always... So... Did you try to call Thomas?

Caroline: Like an hour ago. Straight to voicemail... 

Diana: I bet he is on some hike or a boat trip... 

Caroline: I bet he is... And he also doesn't want to talk to me. 

Diana: He will cool off and everything will come back to normal. 

Caroline: I don't know... I have a really bad feeling Diana... I think that Thomas might not be coming back to me. 

Diana: Feelings are not always true. This is just your fear talking. 

Caroline: But I can sense that something changed... Like Thomas found something else...

Diana: You mean he met a hot Cuban girl and he forgot about you? He just arrived there!

Caroline: I don't know... I just feel like I'm not on his mind at all. 

Caroline looks sad.

Next scene: Local man arrives at the shore with his boat and is surprised to see Hope with Thomas. 

Local man: Mister Thomas... Who is this young lady with you?

Thomas: My wife.

Local man: But how did she get here?

Thomas: I will explain everything when we will reach the other shore. Then I will need your service again... Because we will travel to mainland Cuba.

Local man: But...

Thomas: I'll pay as much as you want.

Local man is confused.

Next scene: Brooke and Liam talk at the Logan mansion.

Brooke: I'm really happy that you want to keep in touch with me... When I talk to you I feel so connected to Hope.

Liam: We will always keep in touch. You are Beth's grandma.

Brooke: True... The bond will always be there. 

Liam: I can't believe she's gone... I think that in my mind I fake that she's alive and this is what keeps me from falling apart completely.
