Let's forget the past

It's a new day at Forrester Creations. Brooke is talking in the office with Dave.

Brooke: Dave, I am so grateful for your support... But you really don't have to babysit me at work.

Dave: I know Forrester is coming to work soon and I don't want you to be alone when he will get here.

Brooke: Dave, Ridge won't hurt me. I can handle him.

Dave: He will try to manipulate you! 

Brooke: I know Ridge more than he knows himself. He can't manipulate me.

Dave: Are you sure? You knew that he will side with Caroline and not you? 

Brooke looked at Dave and she looks sad.

Dave: Sorry... I didn't mean to hurt you.

Brooke: I know. You just don't want Ridge to hurt me... I appreciate it. 

Dave puts his hand on Brooke's arm.

Dave: I will always be there for you. 

Eric walks into the office.

Eric: What is going on here?

Brooke and Dave look at Eric as he looks a bit upset by Dave being there.

Next scene: Finn is at his office and he looks sad. Diana walks in.

Finn: Diana?

Diana: Hi brother, do you have a moment?

Finn: Sure. Please sit. I have 30 minutes for myself... We can chat a bit. How are you? How's Reggie?

Diana: He is fine... I am... Not as good as Reggie.

Finn: Why?

Diana: I have some marital issues... 

Finn: Oh no... What kind of marital issues? 

Diana: I may have... Hurt Rick. I didn't want it, but I did... And it's all because of mom.

Finn looks confused.

Finn: Because of mom? Our mom?

Diana: Yeah... Sheila was at my place and Rick saw her.

Finn looks shocked.

Next scene: Thomas is in the Cuban apartment and he has a flashback to how he told Hope that their daughter Ashley is dead.

In his head: "I made so many mistakes... I told Hope our real names... I confirmed she had a daughter... And first of all... I did it... I lied to Hope. I'm a monster again... Even if... Even if I'm saving Hope from that weak excuse of a man Liam... Maybe I should just confess and go back to my family?"

Thomas has flashbacks of Caroline kissing Ridge. He closes his eyes and sits on the bed. He looks defeated.

Thomas: I can't... I just can't.

Hope walks into the room.

Hope: Thomas?

Hope sits by him and looks into his tearful eyes. She touches his cheek.

Hope: Why are you sad? It's because of Ashley?

Thomas nods and Hope hugs him.

Next scene: Back to Forrester Creations.

Eric: Who are you?

Dave: I'm Dave.

Eric: Ah... Brooke's ex. I heard about you. Why are you here?

Brooke: Eric, we are friends.

Eric: Friends? Brooke, I live on this earth long enough to know that when a man wants a woman he will search for any excuse to have her. You told Donna that you want to divorce Ridge... And now Dave is here... I am no fool and I know what that means.
