Few days passed. Thomas and Caroline kiss at FC.

Thomas: You know what? I enjoy working with you. 

Caroline smiles and they kiss again.

Brooke walks in.

Caroline: Brooke? Didn't see you for days. Where were you?

Brooke: Grieving the loss of my marriage. 

Thomas: We are sorry.

Brooke: I'm sure Caroline is sorry, but you? I don't think so.

Caroline: Brooke, I assure you my husband is not happy to see you in pain. 

Brooke: Maybe not. I want to say sorry for attacking you before. 

Thomas: Really?

Brooke: Yes... I no longer think you had to have something to do with all this mess. Now I believe it's Steffy's doing.

Thomas looks annoyed.

Next scene: At Forrester mansion Macy, Thorne and Eric sit at the sofas and eat snacks.

Macy: So how was New York?

Eric: Amazing as always... But the best part was seeing Logan. My grandson became a really smart and handsome young man. I'm awfully proud of him.

Thorne: I've heard he loves you a lot.

Eric: He told me that. He said I am his favorite grandpa.

Macy: Yikes... Brooke's dad would hate to hear that.

Eric: Well, I hope he won't find out. 

Macy: About Brooke... Did any of you talk to her?

Eric: I did. She's devastated. I don't understand Ridge.

Macy: Maybe he just fell out of love? It's impossible to not fall out of love with Brooke Logan? 

Thorne: Macy...

Macy: What? I am having an honest discussion with the two of you. Donna decided to stay a bit longer in New York so now I have the chance to say what I feel... I think Ridge made a good choice to leave her.

Thorne and Eric look surprised.

Next scene: Katie and Liam talk at the Spencer mansion.

Liam: Aren't you feeling lonely?

Katie: No. Your dad is at a business trip with Wyatt and Flo just for today and tomorrow. I can be alone for that short time. Besides... I have Helen and you guys. 

Hope walks into the room.

Hope: Beth and Helen sleep in the nursery. Sorry for leaving the two of you, but when Beth wants nap time she has to get it.

Liam: Yep. She loves napping.

Hope: But first she ran all around the house. Sorry for that by the way.

Katie: Don't be sorry. I loved every moment of it.

They laugh.

Liam: Did... Brenda show up? 

Katie: Oh God no... She wouldn't dare.

Hope: I'm kind of feeling sorry for her. 

Katie: Me too... But I don't even want to talk about her.

Liam: Sorry for mentioning her. I wanted to know because I'm worried.

Katie: Don't. She's out of our lives. I hoped it would be different, but she made the decision to be ungrateful. What about Brooke? Is my sister ok?
