Liam's honesty

Hope and Liam still talk.

Hope: What are you trying to say Liam? Is our past so bad?

Liam: No... We... We have a lot of beautiful past moments, but also some that are... Not as beautiful. I want you to hear it from me before Thomas or someone else will remind you about it. 

Hope: Okay... Tell me.

Liam: You went to Cuba because of me.

Hope looks confused.

Hope: I don't get it.

Liam: I was cruel to you... You were hurt and you wanted to get away... Your assistant was supposed to travel to Cuba, but you took her place... 

Hope: You were cruel? Why?

Liam: Because you kissed another man.

Hope looks shocked.

Next scene:  Steffy and Finn talk at the cliff house.

Steffy: The show was great, but... Few people aren't happy.

Finn: Because of Thomas?

Steffy: Yeah. 

Finn: You're the boss... And your dad too. Nobody can tell you what to do.

Steffy: I know, right?

Taylor walks in looking nervous.

Taylor: Hey... I didn't catch you at Forrester.

Taylor hugs Steffy and later Finn.

Steffy: You saw Thomas?

Taylor: Yes... Liam... Hit him.

Steffy: What?!

Taylor: I went into the office and saw Thomas with a little bruise on his cheek. Liam is out of control... I think we need to talk to him. He is Kelly's father and Thomas is Kelly's uncle. He can't act that way.

Finn: Liam has his reasons to hate Thomas... I know it's hard to hear, but... I understand where he is coming from. 

Taylor: I'm Thomas's mother... As much as I sympathize with Liam I have to care for my child. 

Steffy: I'll talk to Liam. 

Ridge walks in.

Ridge: Hey... You're all here. That's good.

Taylor: Very good. We need to talk about Thomas and everyone who attacks him. 

Ridge looks worried.

Next scene: Caroline is at the loft with Douglas. Caroline helps her son with homework. 

Caroline: Douglas, that's easy.

Douglas: No, it's not.

Caroline: Let me explain again...

Thomas walks in with flowers.

Douglas: Daddy!

Douglas runs to hug Thomas and Caroline looks shocked. 

Thomas: Hey fella... How have you been?

Douglas: Not so good... I missed you.

Thomas: Me too. Hopefully I can come back here really soon.

Caroline: Douglas can you go upstairs?

Douglas: But mom...

Caroline: Douglas... 1,2...

Douglas: Okay, okay...

Douglas goes upstairs.

Thomas moves closer to Caroline.
