Akira's POV
I woke up, and sat up, realizing that I wasn't on my beds at the dorms. It took me a second to remember that I had been captured. I sighed. No more training, I guess. I stood up and stretched. What time was it? I peeked out of the place I had been sleeping in. It wasn't fully bright yet. Great! I'll get some alone time.
I looked around, no one was awake yet. I'll walk around then. I quickly washed my face and grabbed my knife. I placed it in my belt. Then I walked out.
The cool breeze hit my skin and I felt calm. It felt nice. I walked and found a nice cliff. I sat down, my legs dangling over the edge. I closed my eyes, relaxed a bit. I lied down, no one would see me anyways. I stretched out a bit before staying in a position I was comfortable with, my back on the floor. I closed my eyes and placed my hands beneath my head. I stayed like this for a long time and must have dozed out for a while.
" Akira?"
I sat up abruptly, almost falling off the cliff when I felt two hands grab me. I turned to see it was Neteyam. I stood up and he held me to make sure I don't fall.
" Thanks," I muttered. That was embarrassing...
He nodded, " Yeah, sure."
Lo'ak stood behind him.
" Hey, you alright?" Lo'ak asked as his walked to my side.
" Yeah, so um...what's the problem?" I cleared my throat.
" My dad went to the place you slept, and you weren't there, so he asked us to find you," Lo'ak explained.
" Sorry," I shrugged and stretched. We started walking towards their home. I saw Jake standing in front of their home with Neytiri.
" Hey kid," Jake said when he saw me. He looked relieved. Should I be glad?
" Hey, sorry bout' that," I said. He smiled.
" It's alright, we'll talk about your stay after breakfast," he said. Great.
Neytiri stood there as her husband went in. I gave her a weak smile. That was awkward.

I was again eating with the Sully family. Breakfast was nice. Tuk kept asking me questions, which was adorable.
" What's your favorite color?"
" What food do you like?"
" Do you like it here?"
" How is it on your planet?"
" Do you have brothers? Sisters?"
" Do you want to go around the village? I could bring you!"
" Do you have an Ikran?"
She continued happily as we ate. I laughed at her enthusiasm. She was adorable. I answered most of the questions, which she listened too, and, no doubt, her family did too.
" Tuk! Let the girl eat!" laughed Kiri as Tuk bombarded me with more questions. I laughed.
" Fine," Tuk groaned but she still looked up at me, smiling brightly. I smiled back.
___
" We'll be leaving in about 2 weeks, and you're going to come with us," Jake said. We had finished breakfast and I sat in front of the couple as they told me my plans.
" Leaving?" I asked. Kiri had brought Tuk out to play so there was only Neteyam, Lo'ak, Jake and Neytiri.
" Yes."
" Quaritch's hunting you down, isn't it?" I sighed, " That motherfucking son of a bitch."
I stared up at the wide eyes around me. I rolled my eyes.
" What? It's not like you don't curse," I said and crossed my arms.
" Anyways, yes, I bet Quaritch's hunting us down, you included." Jake continued.
" It's not a bet," I told him, " That guy's full of revenge."
" Also, he really underestimates people, you know?" I said, just to lighten up the mood. Everyone laughed.
" You'll have to learn, like us," Jake said. I nodded. That's gonna be a little hard but okay.
" Now, go have fun, get to know each other," he said.
" Thanks," I said and stood up. I started to head out before remembering. I turned back.
" Hey, um, do you have any place to um, practise?" I asked.
" Practise? Practise what?"
" Archery?"
Lo'ak jumped up and joined me.
" I'll take you there," he smiled.
" Okay," I said and we left. Neteyam stayed back, probably to talk with his parents.
Lo'ak lead me to the archery targets.
" Here," he said as he handed me a bow.
" It's an extra," he told me. I grinned and nodded.
" Here, I'll teach you," he offered as he walked beside me. He positioned my arms.
" I know how this works, Lo'ak," I told him. He raised a brow. We made eye contact and I laughed.
" Really?" he questioned. I loaded and shot as an answer. He stared in disbelief. I smirked. I looked at the result, right at the target.
" My baby bro, she knows how this works," Neteyam said as he walked towards us.
" Hey," he smiled at me.
" Hi."
" Nice shot," he told me.
" Thanks."
He had his bow in his hands. He threw his younger brother's bow to him. Lo'ak caught it.
" Yeesh," Lo'ak said, annoyed, " I was just trying to help!"
I laughed.
" Awww, don't be sad." I grinned. Neteyam laughed.
" Okay, you two, let's shoot," Neteyam said as he loaded. He stood a few feet away from us, on my right. Lo'ak walked a few feet away, on my left.
" Hey, guys! A challenge?" Lo'ak suggested.
" Sure!"
" You're on," I replied as we shot.
It's not so bad here. I kinda like it.
