Akira's POV
This was ridiculous. It was just a light, long scratch and everyone acts as if it were a big deal. Like the hell? I've been through worse! I sat there, in the Chief's marui pod, all bored while my arm was getting treated by Ronal. Tsireya helped her mother, grabbing the things the tsahik needed.
" I'm okay, really," I muttered as Tsireya applied a substance onto the wound. She looked up at me and giggled.
" What?" I groaned unhappily.
" You're hilarious, you know that?" she whispered and smiled. She went back to applying the substance. I rolled my eyes.
" Tsireya, daughter, I need to go collect some ingredients for the treatment, stay with her," Ronal told her.
" Yes, mother."
Ronal went out. I huffed out a breath. Tsireya looked at me.
" Um, Akira, right?" she asked. I nodded my head.
" What's your relationship with Lo'ak? Are you together?"
I coughed and choked on my saliva. She hurriedly patted my back.
" What?! NO!" I exclaimed, disgusted. She gave me a look.
" Really?"
" Of course! Ew, gross, I can't even!" I said as I threw my hands up. She laughed. I smirked at her.
" You like him, don't you?" I teased. She turned red and avoided eye contact. I chuckled.
" Come on, admit it, it's obvious!" I laughed.
" Okay, Okay! Yes! I do! But don't tell him! Please?" she pleaded. I chuckled.
" Relax! I won't," I smiled.

Ronal came back and sent Tsireya off. So, it was just me and the tsahik. Hooray! I wonder what she's gonna say to the demon, no offence. I sighed; this was awkward. Ronal turned to face me after finishing her mixture. She grabbed my arm and started to apply the substance. It stung a little.
" Tell me, who raised you?"
I looked up at her, confused.
" You are an orphan, aren't you?"
Oh...right...
" Yes, I was raised by gangsters," I said plainly. She nodded her head slowly.
" I'm impressed." she said after awhile of silence. She stood up to get a cloth as I just stared in confusion.
" You are not from our clan, not from this world, and yet you managed a creature that is made for warriors," she continued as she walked back towards me, sat down and bandaged my arm. I didn't know what to say, so I stayed quiet.
" I will talk to your guardians, and you can start learning to be a warrior," she told me. I was shocked. A warrior? Me? If you told me that I was to be a money lender, gang leader or heck! Even a bar waitress, I would understand. But a warrior? I sat there, shocked, surprised, numbed.
" Keep the wound clean, I will talk to you more about your training," she continued.
" Okay, thank you," I mumbled. She nodded her head and showed me out. Wow...that went better than I expected. Best case scenario, actually. I walked back towards our marui pod, thinking about earlier.
I wonder what Jake and Neytiri would say...
