Akira's POV
I bet this party's going to last for the whole night and when the adults come out to walk tomorrow morning, they're going to see lots of drunk teens passed out everywhere.
Litterally, it's only been about 2 hours and people are legit drunk. Like...what?
After the talk with Neteyam, I went to sit by a corner and just enjoy the time. I admit, I have attended parties that are much wilder, and they mostly end in fights. Yes, fights: drunk idiots fighting other drunk idiots. Good times.
" How do you like the party?"
I looked up to see Tsireya beaming at me. I smiled back. She sat down beside me and handed me a cup of Pandora's alcohol. I took it and drank a sip.
" You seem bored." she said, frowning a little. I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled. She fiddled with her fingers for a while before looking at me shyly.
" I heard that you will be start training as a warrior," she said, a small smile at her lips. I looked at her in surprise. How did she know?
" Did your mom tell you?"
She chuckled, " No, I overheard my parents talking."
"Oh."
"I think you're going to train with my brother, or at least that's what my parents' said." she informed, smiling. I sighed mentally. Tsireya must have seen the look on my face because she frowned.
" You know, he's not half as bad, even though he seems like a jerk," she laughed at the last part. I smiled a little at that. She was defending her brother.
" I don't...I don't hate him. He seems like a nice guy even though he's been acting like a jerk." I admitted, " And it's not me who hates him. My best friend literally hates his guts."
" You mean Kiri?" she asked, confused.
" No, not Kiri."
" Neteyam?"
" Not exactly, it's my skxawng bestie." I sighed.
" Oh, it's Lo'ak isn't it?"
" Yeah, yes, it is."
