A little lazy chat

Akira's POV

I lay in my room in the Marui, tired out from today. Training was fun, I got new knives and I got to play makeovers. While the others were in the main part of the Marui, I was resting. It was Neytiri who suggested for me to rest, after all, I did get my first training today.

I closed my eyes, an arm under my head. Just then, something fell. I sat up, only to relax back when I found out who it was.

" Sorry." Neteyam grinned. I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging on my lips.

" Hi, Teyam." I said, " So, why you here?"

" Well, I was just checking to see if you were asleep." he said, that stupid grin still on his face. I chuckled.

" Well, I'm not, thanks to you." I joked. Neteyam mockingly placed his hands over his chest, pouting.

" You wound me," he pouted. I rolled my eyes, huffing. 

" We got two overgrown babies now, hm?" I laughed. He scoffed but chuckled along. He settled down beside me.

" How was training?" he asked. I shrugged.

" Fine, I guess."

" What did you do? Kick any ass yet?"

I gasped, " OMG! You used your first bad word!"

He rolled his eyes, nudging me, " Hey!"

I chuckled, " We made our weapons. And no, sadly not yet."

He smiled, intrigued as he watched me take out my knives. He examined them for a while. I couldn't help but look at him, it was cute seeing how focused he was. 

He glanced up at me, making me look away, embarrassed. He chuckled, a smirk on his face.

" Like the view?"

I rolled my eyes, huffing, " Don't compliment yourself."

He grinned, " Oh really? Your actions say otherwise."

I hit him playfully, causing him to laugh. I groaned.

" It ain't funny, Teyam!"

" Oh yes, it is!" he repleid, making me roll my eyes.

" No, it ain't!"

" Yeah right, Kira." he nudged me.

I glared at him. He chuckled, raising his hands in mock surrender.

" Okay okay," he answered, choking on his laugh a little, making me smile.

" Anyways, change of topic, when are we going for our late-night swim again?" I asked. He grinned.

" Tomorrow?" he suggested, his voice low. I shrugged.

" Tomorrow it is!" he smiled; his voice still low. I grinned.

" Lo'ak's going to explode if he finds out." I chuckled. Neteyam smirked.

" So keep it a secret."
