Akira's POV

It's the day.

We're leaving.

Even though I've only been here for 2 weeks and 5 days (yes, I'm counting), I will really miss this place. The forest, the cliff, the clan, Norm. Yes, all of it.

I could feel that all the Sullys were down, sad. I couldn't blame them. Felt the same when I left my planet. I hugged Tuk as she started to cry. We hopped onto the Ikrans, I mounted on Neteyam's. Well, he insisted. They looked back at their home, which made me feel...something.

I kept my hands tight on the saddle, before Neteyam grabbed them and placed them around his waist. I felt the heat rise towards my cheek. He looked at me.

" I won't bite, Kira."

We exchanged smiles. Then, we took off. We flew for a long while. I fell asleep, leaning on Neteyam.

I woke up after a while, feeling water drip all over me. I looked up into the sky. It was filled with dark clouds. I shivered a little as the storm got heavier.

" Hang on tight," Neteyam whispered to me as he placed a hand on my thigh. I would have usually push it off but now I let it stay there. I held his waist tighter as we flew faster, catching up with Lo'ak. Lo'ak smiled when he saw me.

" You look cute when you sleep!" he yelled. I rolled my eyes at him.

" Shut up, Lo." He smirked. This little idiot. I couldn't help but smile. Neteyam chuckled and I hit him lightly on the head.

The rain soon stopped. We few over the beautiful clear waters as Metkayina people stared up at us. A horn sounded as we landed onto the sand. Neteyam got down before helping me. My legs stumbled a bit.

" Hey, leave it," Jake told Neytiri as she made a grab for her bow. She did as told.

" Be nice."

" Be nice," Neytiri repeated to us, she saw my face when a group of teens pointed fingers at me and gave me a small smile.

A boy, with a bun, came towards us. Another boy followed.

The first boy nudged his head towards me.

" Beauty. " His friend nodded.

I felt Neteyam tense up and moved his body to cover me. Lo'ak glared at the boys.

They made fun of our tails. A beautiful girl approached and stopped them.

" Hey," Lo'ak said coolly. I smirked and nudged him, sharing a smile with Neteyam. My little friend was in love. The girl giggled. The chief, Tonowari, flew over on his tsurak (skimwing). A woman appeared from the crowd. The tsahik. We greeted them.

" Why do you come to us, Jake Sully?"

" We seek Uturu."

"Uturu?"

I zoned out for a bit. Probably for a bit too long. I soon realized the tsahik was right in front of me, glaring at me as if I was some prankster who just broke her window or something. I attempted a smile.

" Demon," she hissed. I rolled my eyes, trying not to reply with ' Fuck off '. Damn...this was hard.

" What are you doing here, Demon?"

" Do you really think I wanna come here?" I said harshly. Neteyam mouthed ' don't '.

" I came here against my will, I came to this planet against my will, you really think I want to be here?" I said louder. I huffed a breath.

" Then why did they bring you here," she asked with a strong, fierce tone.

" I didn't have a choice."

" Why." she said it plainly. Damn, she really takes things seriously.

" I was sick, needed this body," I said plainly.

" Where are your parents?"

" I don't have parents," I sat that word bitterly, " Abandoned."

" Ah, so you're an orphan." she thought for a while before returning to talk to Jake. I raised a brow and didn't care. I spun a knife in my hand, making the crowd keep a distance from me. I smirked. Scared, hey?

" Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us, treat them like our brothers and sisters. Teach them our ways so they don't suffer the shame of being useless. My son, Aonung and our daughter, Tsireya will teach your children our ways," Tonowari said. Jake told us to say thank you. I muttered my thanks. Before mumbling softly, ' not '.

" Father, why-"

" It is decided," Tonowari said strictly.

" Come, I will show you our village," Tsireya said happily.
