Akira's POV
We glided slowly, passing by corals and sea creatures. The sea glowed with glory. It was beautiful, really. I swirled around some corals, a few glowing fish mimicking my movements around me. My ilu made a happy sound when I beamed. That made me smile even more.
I glanced at Neteyam who had been staring at me. I couldn't help but giggle when he was caught red-handed. He looked away, blushing. I felt confused when I felt...something. It was like there were a thousand butterflies in my stomach. What was this?
I didn't want to know.

After a while, we went up to the surface for air. We exchanged looks and laughed.
" That was fun," I breathed as I grinned.
" Yeah, very," he huffed. We were a little out of breath: we were doing a small holding breath competition. Of course, I won.
" I won," I said proudly. Neteyam rolled his eyes.
" Yeah, yeah."
" Admit it, Teyam, I'm better at holding my breath," I teased.
" No way!" he exclaimed playfully.
" Say it, who's better at holding their breath?"
" No way I'm saying it," he smiled.
" Admit it!" I laughed. Oops, that was a little loud. Neteyam hushed me.
" Okay! Okay! Fine!" he huffed, " You are."
" Who am I?" I asked, pushing him on.
He smirked. " A beauty."
I gasped and hit him playfully making him chuckle. I could feel my face burning off.
" Aww, are you flustered?" he cooed.
" Shut up," I muttered but I couldn't help but smile.
" You? You're a beauty, that's who you are," he said, smirking.
"Shut up," I mumbled.
My face was definitely blushing.
He chuckled.
