Akira's POV

" Hey! No fair!" Lo'ak yelled. I laughed.

" What's not fair, baby bro?" Neteyam asked.

" Why am I at the last place?!" Lo'ak shrieked.

" Because you're the one whose arrow hit the furthest away from the target," Neteyam explained, smirking. I snickered.

Lo'ak rolled his eyes, " That's because I went easy for Kira to win!"

" We calling nicknames now?" I asked. Lo'ak grinned.

" Kira sounds nice," he said. I shrugged.

" Whatever you say, Lo," I replied, smirking.

" What about me?" Neteyam asked. I thought for a while.

" Teyam," I said smiling.

" Okay, Kira," he grinned.

We walked back to their home and placed down the bows.

" AKIRA!" yelled a voice. I turned and saw Tuk waving to us. I waved back. Kiri and Tuk made their way to us.

" No fair! Why do you guys get to spend more time with Kira than me and Kiri?" she said angrily and placed her hands on her hips.

" Aww, Tuk," I cooed as I hugged her.

" Come, we'll bring you to a pretty place!" she exclaimed happily as she held my hand. I smiled at her, before smiling to her older sister.

" Alright, let's go!" I replied and we walked out. She grabbed Kiri's hand, and we walked, hand in hand.

" Hey! What about us?" yelled Lo'ak. Both boys caught up with us. Lo'ak walked beside me and pouted.

" What about me?" he said. I laughed a little before swatting his shoulder.

" You skxawng," I rolled my eyes. I grabbed his hand.

" Happy?" I asked sarcastically.

He smirked. " Yes."

Kiri had let go of Tuk's hand, so I was left with an adorable little girl on my left and an annoying brother that I never had on my right. We went into the forest near the village. It was really beautiful. Kiri lied down onto the grass. Tuk let go of my hand to play with some flowers. I let go of Lo'ak's hand before joining Kiri on the ground.

" It's nice, isn't it?" she asked me. I closed my eyes. I felt calm.

" Yes," I breathe. It was so peaceful. I felt someone sit near me. I opened one eye and saw it was Neteyam. I relaxed and closed my eye. I felt two more figures sitting near me. I bet it was Lo'ak and Tuk. I sat up. Everyone was staring at me. I tilted my head in confusion.

" What's wrong?"

Kiri gestured to my head. I look up and saw a seed from the spirit tree. I gasped. It was beautiful. A few more floated towards me. I swatted my hand. Kiri grabbed my hand and signaled to stop. The seeds landed on top of my head. More seeds came and landed on my shoulder, hand and lap. I sat still. Tuk gasped. Kiri smiled. Lo'ak looked in awe. Neteyam touched my free hand lightly. After a few minutes, they flew away. I stood up.

" What-" I was lost for words.

" Those were the seeds from the spirit tree!" Tuk exclaimed.

" Come on! We gotta tell Mom and Dad!" Lo'ak said and we ran off.

I went back to the cliff and sat down. Neytiri and Jake were surprised by the news. Apparently, Jake had experienced the same. I calmed myself. I missed my gang. My familia. I miss them like hell. I want to see them. I really do.

" Hey,"

It was Jake. He sat beside me.

" Hi."

" How are you?" his face softened. He placed his hand on my shoulder.

" I just..." I sighed, " I just miss my gang, my family."

It was true, I really missed them. Tears fell down my cheek.

" Hey, hey, it's okay," he said as he pulled me in for a hug.

" I know it's hard," he said, " but you have to be strong."

He patted my back. I felt a fatherly warmth which I never felt before.

" I miss them, I miss them a lot," I cried. Jake patted my back as I cried into his chest. He was much much taller than me. Even when sitting.

" I know you do, but you'll have to be strong, for them, for yourself."

I pulled away and wiped my tears. I nodded my head.

" Thank you, Jake," I whispered.

" We'll take good care of you alright? You'll be safe with us," he assured me. I nodded again.

" Go take a rest, alright?"

" Okay," I whispered as he hugged me again. I felt as if I had a father.

" Good night," I said.

" Good Night," he replied. I walked back towards the place I slept in. I walked in, made sure no one was there, and undressed. Norm had given me a set of new clothes earlier. I quickly changed. Just when I started to put on my top, someone came in and shocked me.

" Lo'ak?" I asked. The two boys came in and seemed surprised. I hissed at them, and they quickly turned. I put on my top, a sleeveless white top, and turned to them.

" You can see now," I said. They turned back and sat beside me.

" I didn't know you wore two layers," Lo'ak smirked. I smacked him on his head just as his brother pinched his ear.

" OW! OW!"

" You skxawng! What did you see?!" I yelled. Neteyam hushed me.

" Nothing much! I just saw you in your sports br-" Lo'ak started but I smacked him again.

" OW! OKOK! STOP!"

" Hush! People are sleeping, mind you," Neteyam said forcefully but smiled. I turned to him.

" What did you see, Teyam?!"

" Nothing, I'm not like this idiot here," he nudged his brother. Lo'ak shot him a look.

" Alright, I'm tired alright," I groaned as I lied down. Both boys joined me.

" Hey, are you okay? We heard that you cried," Lo'ak said, nudging me lightly. I shoved at him.

" Jake told you?"

" No, we were there, wanted to talk to you."

" Huh..."

" Don't be sad, Kira. We're here for you," Lo'ak said as he hugged me. Even though I've only been here for about a day, I felt at home. I felt warmth. Neteyam joined the hug before we pulled away and laughed.

" Friends?" they whispered.

" Friends."
