Akira's POV
It's been a week, and I was getting along with all the Sullys. Even Neytiri.
I was sitting in their home, humming to myself as I weaved some vines together to make a bracelet. For Tuk. I weaved in two beads that I collected, one turquiose, one purple. I found them in a river when I was catching a fish. I added small details or extras and finished. I started examined my work when Tuk came bouncing in.
" Hi Kira!" she squealed happily.
" Hi Tuk."
In her hand was a bunch of freshly plucked flowers. They were a pretty bunch. Vibrant colors from blue to yellow. Really pretty. Tuk sat beside me, staring at the bracelet in my hand. I noticed and gave it to her.
" It's for you, I made it," I told her. She grinned happily as she wore it and examined it on her wrist. She thanked me with a hug.
" It's so pretty!" she squealed. That made me smile. Her cuteness made me smile. She grabbed the flowers and sat behind me. I turned to her, confused.
" It's for your hair! Can I style it? It'll be nice, I promise!"
I nodded and she started combing through it. Her tiny fingers combed through gently as she hummed to herself. I sat patiently and she designed my hairdo. I felt the occasional light tug and she braided my hair. I could feel her huff in annoyance when she disapproved. She would untie my hair and start over. She finally stayed with a hairdo she was happy with and started decorating with flowers. She stood in front of me now and started comparing the colors and matching them with my hair.
" What are you two doing?"
Neytiri walked in with a smile. She looked at us and her smile widened. I gave her a smile and she smiled back. She sat a few feet away, watching. Tuk finally finished and grinned brightly. I covered my eyes.
" Mum! Is it pretty?" I heard her ask. Neytiri must have nodded because I heard Tuk giggle happily. I heard Tuk walk away for a second before returning. My eyes were still closed, orders from Tuktirey. I could sense her in front of me.
" You can see now, Kira."
I opened my eyes and gasps. Tuk had styled it into two cute buns. Small braids rounded the bottom of each bun and blue, green and yellow flowers were tucked into the braids. I smiled.
" It's beautiful Tuk, thank you." I grinned. She smiled and clapped her hands.
" Come! Let's show the others!"
We bid goodbye to Neytiri and went out to find the siblings.
___
" You look beautiful, Akira!"
Kiri gushed and smirked when she saw the look on her brothers' faces. Lo'ak had his mouth open and Neteyam couldn't stop staring. I rolled my eyes at them. I walked over to Lo'ak and snapped his mouth shut.
" I-I..." he stuttered. I swatted him on the shoulder.
" Stop it, skxawng, keep your mouth shut next time, don't open it so big, an insect's gonna fly in," I told him as his sisters snickered. I turned to Neteyam. I shoved him.
" Stop." I said and he looked away, embarrasssed. I laughed. He rubbed his neck.
" Alright, stop gawking Lo'ak, let's go have fun," I told them as I walked away with Kiri and Tuk.
" Sorry, you just look nice," I heard Neteyam whisper.
I smiled to myself. Thanks Teyam.
