Dress Up PT 2

Akira's POV

" So?"

I tried to smile. I felt weird. Like standing there for people to look at was NOT my thing.

" You...Look...AMAZING!" gushed Tsireya. I grinned. Kiri gave me two thumbs up, telling me that she approved. Lucky me. I don't have to be forced into trying another outfit. And I'm quite satisfied with this one. After gushing and complimenting, the girls styled my hair and completed the look. Kiri braided while Tsireya found bracelets. And at long last, they were done. 

Then, I helped them get ready and soon we were heading to the event. The boys were to meet us there. And...Neteyam had told Jake and Neytiri about this, which they were fine with. As long as we don't cause trouble, of course. I thought about how the boys would think about my look?

" Lo'ak! Hi!"

I turned to see Tsireya waving to Lo'ak, who was walking towards us. He haven't noticed me yet, as I was hiding behind Kiri. Kiri wanted to walk to them, but I pulled her back.

" Let them have their time," I said, smirking. She just smiled.

" You look beautiful" Lo'ak said. Tsireya blushed.

" Thanks."

Neteyam and Aonung appeared. I was still hidden, the sky was dark and Kiri helped block the light of the torches. 

" Wait...where's Akira?" Lo'ak asked as he suddenly remembered me. Kiri smirked as she walked away from me, revealing me. 

" Hi." I smirked. Lo'ak's mouth was hanging open. Neteyam seemed surprised too. And Aonung kept staring at me, which was awkward. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

" So? How do I look?"

Lo'ak swallowed. " You-you look...amazing..."

" Thanks, Lo, you look really stressed out, by the way." I laughed. I walked towards him and shoved his chest.

" You look nice, though," Neteyam said as he walked towards us. I gave him a smile.

" Thank you," I said.

" Come one, let's go have fun," I grinned as I grabbed his arm, hurrying towards the people who were enjoying the party. A large campfire burned in the middle as music played and people chatted. The other caught up and went their ways. Kiri went to talk with Rotxo while Tsireya showed Lo'ak around. I smiled.

Then, something surprised me. A song from Earth played. I was surprised. How was that possible?

" It was Lo'ak's idea," a voice said. I turned around to see Neteyam.

' How-?"

" Norm gave him a music player, you know the rest," he smiled. I grinned. The song was nice, and I recognized it. It was the song ' Bling Bling' by ALTEGO. The teens seemed to like the song even though the language was foreign to them. Some people even started dancing.
