🧑Nik Anthony POV🧑

I can't breathe. I can't even think straight right now. After the bad news I've just received, how can I function properly?

Little Nik's whereabouts are unknown. Well, according to his incompetent teachers, he's missing. What makes the matter worse is that no one knows how or when it happened. Are you kidding me?

There is no video footage of him entering or exiting the premises. And those security guards are just useless. They are so fired. Every Jack, Jill, Roy, and Pam—all of them.

I mean, I left my kid in their care, and this is what happened. They are lucky that's all I'm doing.

Damn it, I blame myself. I should have let him homeschool instead, but Mother convinced me to send him to school to make friends. But if he were at home, then he wouldn't have been neglected or missing. He would be safe and secure beneath Tajea's and my wings.

Argh! I can't let Tajea even know about this. She will be devastated. Maybe she'll beat the crap out of these useless teachers, or worse, burn the school to the ground. And I'd help her.

Any way, I got the police and every kind of law enforcement you can think of involved. I need to find my boy asap. If anything should happen to that boy. No. I can't think that way.

Breathe. Nik. Breathe.

McCarty was with me at the school, trying to console me and keep me calm. But I can't stay calm when I don't have a clue where my kid is. If he's safe and alright. Worst-case scenario, he could be kidnapped by some pervert, or he could be dead.

The more time passes, the more paranoid I get. The person who took my boy will pay dearly. I don't even want to think about what I'll do to them if a hair gets damaged on his sweet little head.

Then, what I feared most happened. I had to tell Tajea and Mother the bad news. They didn't take it well, especially Tajea.

"BS!" Tajea seemed broken up about this, as I knew she would be. "If those scumbags, whoever they are, touch a single hair on his sweet little head, I'll—"

"Uncle Nik! Mother!" Little Nik interrupted. I was so happy to see him. I just rushed to him, hugging him like I never wanted to let him go. My precious boy. Thank you, God, for bringing him back to me.

Then here comes Tajea, hogging him from my grasp and showering him with kisses. Ah, I'm jealous. Little Nik has better luck with women than I do.

After we both ensured he was OK, we realized the people who came with him. Kenneth, some law enforcers, agents, and that b*tch, Toni. What the hell is she doing here?

Then the law officers explained everything. They found Nikcaleon and Toni at a hotel in another city. They arrested Toni and took the child into their custody.

Earlier, they tried reaching me by phone to inform me of this, but they couldn't get to me. My phones are probably on silent mode, which is why they are here now.

As to why they brought Toni here, they want to know what I wish to do with her. After all, I had given them strict orders to let me meet with the kidnapper if they caught him or her.

Sadly, money is power in this wretched world. I could kill her right here in front of them, and they'd all act like it was nothing.

I released Nikcaleon into my mother's care, and she took him upstairs.

"What the hell, Toni?" I roared. "How dare you take my son?"

"Your son," Toni scoffed. "You might be his legal guardian, but I'm still that boy's mother." She glared nastily at Tajea. "His real mom. Not some fashions reject wannabes."
