👧Tajea POV 👧
Sheesh! Regina is getting on my last nerve. The girl won't stop digging into my skin, pestering me to tell her what's going on between Nik and me. All morning at the beach today, and now here at Nik's house in the evening. Haven't we been through this already?
According to her, she knows something very serious is up this time, and she can sense it in her bones. Her spirit.
Heh, since she's clairvoyant, why is she interrogating me?
Then she asked what she wanted to ask all along. If Nik and I are having sex, to which I answered yes, so what?
Now she wants me to elaborate on how it was and how it happened. Deep sigh. So I told her everything, just to settle her curiosity and get her off my back. Rolled my eyes.
And you know her. She made a big deal about it. That is why I didn't want to tell her, but I can't seem to hide anything from my best girl.
"You bad, bad girl?" Regina teased and pinched me. Ouch! "It took you long enough to climb Mount Nik, though. (Mount Nik? Haha. Crazy ass.) I thought you were going to die without experiencing what it feels like to be with a true man. And that would truly be a tragedy."
"Whatever," I said, rolling my eyes. Damn drama queen.
"Did you use protection?" She questioned.
Oh, shit! I didn't. And Nik has been up in my space for the past few days, every chance he gets. "Oh, no."
"Oh, yes! I'm going to be an aunt!" The crazy woman got excited.
"Stop it. I'm not pregnant," I shouted. This draws the attention of Nik, Tyrone, and McCarty, who were having a guy moment in another part of the living room.
And that scumbag, McCarty, was teasing Nik, who seemed flattered and looked like it would mean the world to him if I was really pregnant. Well, he better discard that thought. Because I ain't ready for kids just yet.
Besides, we just started having sex a few days ago. A couple of times. It's not like we are officially dating or have a serious relationship going on. Are we?
"Well, pregnancy will be a good look on her. Don't you agree, fellas?" Regina dragged the boys into our conversation.
"Absolutely," McCarty agreed. Of course, he did. Tyrone stayed silent and acted like it had nothing to do with him. Smart.
"Who asked you anything, King Solomon?" I stuck my tongue out at all of them, causing everyone to laugh at me. "Grr. Ugh, I hate you all."
"Oh, don't be like that, Taj," Regina said. "I'm just happy you started having sex for real now. So stop your whining."
"And you're just nagging," I retorted.
"Yes, I am." Regina replied proudly. Then we both laugh. And the boys looked at us as if we were losing our marbles. FYI, we already lost them.
"So, Nik, when are you and Taj taking it to the next level?" Regina asked, making the poor man a bit uneasy. "I mean, you might be a father again soon.
"Nik Jr. two is baking up in there." She rubbed my stomach, and I pushed her hands away.
"For the last time. I'm not pregnant." Well, I am not sure. And it's too soon to say that now. I'm doing a test later.
Damn, what was I thinking having unprotected sex? Nothing, I tell you. Absolutely nothing. And speaking of sex and Nik, Kitty got riled up again. She wants us to kick out everyone and have him right here on the couch. Calm down, girl.
"So, are you going to answer, Nik?" McCarty asked. He was insisting that Nik answer Regina's earlier question.
"Yes, Nik. Answer the question," Regina demanded.
"I'm ready for all the levels," Nik answered confidently. He then asked me, "What about you, Taj?"
"Was I the one who asked the damn question?" Damn him. Damn these annoying people all looking at me, waiting for an answer.
"Answer the question, Taj?" Regina ordered.
"Nik is my boss, and I'm his worker," I replied. "Sure, we have amazing sex."
The boy band started to hoot before I could finish what I had to say. McCarty swelling up Nik's big head. Even Regina was involved in this charade.
"But I don't want to label this. Making it into something it's not," I continued despite all the skylarking. But my answer is for Nik. The other is just nosy. "Let us just enjoy whatever this is until we are sure that this is what we want."
"I'm sure," Nik guaranteed me. His strong determination and faith in us being a power couple stir up emotions inside me. Like I'd just give it to him right now.
"That's just your d*ck talking," I said.
"You didn't seem to have a problem with that this morning?" He flirted with me. In front of all our friends. This is a little embarrassing. And I won't hear the end of this when I'm alone with Regina.
"Humph, boy, please. Don't flatter yourself," I snorted.
"Wait, are you saying that I was not good this morning?" He argued.
"Hmm. Hmm..." Thinking about it. Thinking about it.
Ahhhh!!! It was so GOOD! In fact, good is just an understatement of the magical moment we had this morning. It was intense. And a lot more things I can't find the words to describe. But he doesn't need to know that. I won't give him the satisfaction.
"I don't know," I taunted. "Are you?"
"Let's find out." The boy took his shirt off in an instant, gearing up to take his pants off too. It seems he forgot we have company.
"OK guys. I think that's our cue to get out of here," the amused Regina addressed McCarty and Tyrone. Who agreed with her. And leave in a hurry.
Humph, it took them long enough.
I get closer to Nik, pulling him into me. He kissed me hungrily, and I kissed back.
"You better go get some condoms," I suggested.
"Why? We've been doing so well without them." He replied, kissing my neck and caressing my ass.
"That was before I was thinking about pregnancy."
"Would it be such a bad idea if we had a baby?" He looked me in the eyes and asked. Is he serious?
"Yeah." Duh. Crazy fool.
"OK. Do you want me to leave now and go look for condoms?" He asked.
Roll eyes. Is he for real? I swear his head has gone to another planet. "Heck no." You bad girl.
He swept me off my feet, taking me up to his room. There, he fulfilled all my sexual fantasies. Satisfy every urge. Shatter my world and rebuild it.
