👧Tajea POV 👧

No one knows how long I've waited for a day like this. The day I beat the sh*t out of this wicked, disgusting, and conniving colossal b*tch.

Do you know how many times this cruel witch beat me for no reason when I was a girl? She treats me and my brothers like slaves every time we go to her house for the holidays. She lied and spread bad rumors about me when I was a teenager. Words can't even describe how much I hate this b*tch. How I wish she were dead.

But unfortunately, the b*tch got lucky. She was saved by her three guardian angels. Tayson, Tajray, and Regina. They literally ripped me from her and were struggling to keep me captive. Thus preventing me from doing more damage to Dolores—from committing murder.

However, this was far from over. My actions have turned things for the worse. It escalates things to another level. Things got way out of control fast.

My dad's side of the family got involved. And they were out for blood. My blood. They want to teach me a lesson, according to my uncle Riley. But to my surprise, my mother, along with her side of the family, stepped in to defend me.

Tayson, Theo, and Taray were trying their best to prevent everyone from ripping each other apart. Saying sh*t like, We are family. That we can talk things over. Let's work it out peacefully. But it was all in vain. Everyone has already reached a point of no return.

And I don't know who threw the first blow, or rather, the cake that hit my mom's cousin Jackie. But it's the starter gun. The reason why a fight had broken out like a contagious disease. A wildfire in the jungle.

Food and drinks. Plates and cups. Tables and chairs were being thrown all over the place.

This has become an all-out family war in seconds. Not even I was expecting it to go this far, to be honest. And poor Tayson and his bride. Their beautiful union. What was supposed to be a day of celebration and happiness for the two turned out to be a disaster. All because of one crazy b*tch who can't control her anger.

Well, I definitely have to apologize to them when I get the chance later. But right now, my girl Regina and I are too busy kicking asses. We were beating the shit out of Dolores's daughters.

And while I was distracted, my dad's youngest brother, T-Jay, tried to strike me down. But to his and my surprise, his hand was stopped and crushed by an insanely strong hand.

"That wouldn't be a wise decision." Nik was here to my rescue. And the look on his face was like that of an angry lion. If looks could kill, my uncle would have dropped dead already.

T-Jay aimed a punch at Nik's face, which he dodged. And bam! Knock my uncle down.

My uncle's two teenage sons, Trey and Travis, wanted to punish Nik for his brutal action against their dad. However, what happened next not only stopped them in their tracks but also ended this senseless war in an instant.

A shot was fired. Men clad in black military outfits came barging in like a nest of cockroaches. Guns out.

Everyone was now cowering in their shells. Me, not so much. They probably thought this was a robbery or some kind of hostage situation. Or whatever messed-up things people think about in these kinds of situations.

But it turns out all these men were under Nik's control. I should have known. He never leaves the house without protection these days. Especially when little Nik is around.

Long story short, Nik threatened and had the men force my dad's relatives and friends to leave. And they did.

Something tells me Nik wants to do something bad to them for my sake. But for my sake, he was merciful.

Tajrick also went with his disgusting family. To go kiss up to them, no doubt. But enough about those sh*thouses.

Order was restored, and those who remained present at the scene were now at ease, knowing they weren't in any danger.

"Are you alright?" Nik asked, caressing my cheeks. Concern could be seen in his eyes, the window of his soul.

"Yes," I pouted. Why did I even do that? I'm crazy. "You know, I didn't need your protection. I can defend myself."

But inside, I am very thankful to him, or who knows what the outcome of this might be. I see the headlines in the newspapers: 'Wedding or disaster? Family vs. family to the death. Naw, that sounds stupid. But no doubt it would be something juicy that would entertain this shallow world.

"I know, sweetheart. But I couldn't just stand by and watch you in trouble and not help out." Nik responded—a bit too harsh, if you ask me. I guess I deserve that. OK. You and I know I don't believe that.

"Well, if you hadn't dragged me here, this wouldn't have happened in the first place."

"Oh, stop being so childish," Nik scolded.

"Childish," I gnashed my teeth.

"Yes, childish," he repeated. "I mean, I told you to be on your best behavior. But I should have known you were not capable of doing that."

"You are not the boss of me, Mr. Prick. So don't tell me what to do," I snarled at him. "And what do you mean by I am not capable?"

"Actually, this Prick is your boss. So I dare tell you what to do." He clapped back. "And it's as I say. You are incapable of being on your best behavior."

"You better take that back, Nik. I'm not kidding."

"Who's kidding here?" he snorted.

Damn, this bickering back and forth with Nik is very annoying and giving me a headache. But I must admit, it reminds me of the good old days. Sigh. "Just take me home, Nik."

"Sure. Let me go get our son, then we can go," he said.

Is Nik out of his mind?

"Tell me you didn't leave my kid unattended."

"You didn't give me much of a choice, did you?" Nik raised his voice at me, and I don't like it. "You were here carrying on like a hooligan. Taking things out of proportion like you always do. Being overdramatic and creating a scene. Fighting. What I am trying to say is that I heard your big mouth and came running without thinking."

"So it's my fault why you left my boy alone who knows where?"

"Yes." He acts as if he was thinking about it before replying.

"Nik, don't let me hit you with this bottle." I warned, pointing the champagne bottle I just took from a table at him.

"Oh, relax, Mother Pepper. Little Nik is safe. I'll go get him right now." Nik sprints off to wherever to go get my boy.

I overheard my astounded and yet amazed brothers asking Regina if they (Nik and I) were always like this. To which she responded from the day they met. And that there is no need for concern. That they should ignore us. Because this is how Nik and I show affection for each other. And the more intense their fight, the deeper their love is.

I rolled my eyes.

"You really need to control that nasty temper of yours." Regina said as she approached me. Her smile was so wide, I couldn't help but smile too. I guess forgiving her won't take a long time after all.

"It's a work in progress," I replied.

Regina takes hold of me, squeezing the life out of me. And we cried like idiots, confessing how much we missed each other.
