👧Tajea POV 👧

Grrr! That, Nik! Chasing me all over the place like we are some kids playing tag at the park for hours. Holding me so close, like those tight-fitting shirts that hugged his bulky torso. Spanking my ass, even. Humph! The nerve of that guy.

And because of his antics, I can't even get any work done properly. I can't even think straight. That prick is all that's on my mind.

The feeling of his strong arms around me. Oh goodness, there is no feeling in this world comparable to it. And his breath crawling against my skin. MMM. It melts me and boils my inside with great passion and desires.

I can't stop this, can I? The more I tried not to want Nik, the more I wanted him. Sigh. What am I going to do?

To hell with this. I need to go prepare dinner. Some vegetarian salads with baked and fried chicken.

And that took me a few hours to complete. By then, little Nik had gotten home from school. Dirty as ever. It's as if this boy was tossed down a hill. I had to strip him like a chicken and clean him up nicely. Afterward, I gave him dinner before we went upstairs to his room to do his homework.

And while in the middle of that, Kenneth came knocking, informing me that we had visitors. Ms. Radnor and Nik's dad. He required my permission to let them in. And since Nik is not here, I'm the only one who can allow visitors in here.

Ugh! Why did I have to get dragged into this family drama? After thinking it over, I told him to let them in. Only because Ms. Radnor is a very nice lady.

Less than five minutes later, Kenneth entered the living room with Ms. Radnor and a man that resembled Nik a lot. An older version of Nik, but with two shades brighter complexion.

I wonder what they want with me. I'm sure Kenneth must have told them Nik wasn't here.

"So this is the young lady who is taking care of my grandson," Nik's dad said in a friendly manner. He then takes my hand for a shake and introduces himself: "My name is Niklaus, by the way."

"Tajea." I tried being polite. After all, the first time I heard about this man, it was nothing good. I had hated him before I met him. Smile.

"Pleasure meeting you, my dear." He replied, kissing the back of my hand before releasing it.

"My dear, how are you doing?" Ms. Radnor greeted me with a kiss on the cheek and a big, warm hug. I was happy to see her.

"I'm alright, how are you?" Well, she looked fabulous as always. So I guess she's alright.

"I'm doing well, my dear," she said somewhat sadly. But she forced a smile to hide her true feelings. "How is my son doing?"

"Not well," I replied. And it's the truth. Apart from being a naughty boy, Nik has not been the same since he kicked her out.

"He shouldn't be so hard on himself," Ms. Radnor said. "What he did was the right thing. He can't have this young, fine woman burdening him." That was meant to be a joke, but I couldn't laugh.

"What happened between you two, if you don't mind me asking?" I pried.

"It doesn't matter. Just know I'm at fault," she replied. Faint smile. "Beside, Nik doesn't need me any more. He has you and little Nik. And speaking of the little love bug, where is he?"

"Upstairs in his room, doing homework," I answered.

"Can I go see him?" Stupid question.

"Of course you can. You know your way."

"Yeah, I do." Ms. Radnor smiled before heading up the stairs, leaving me alone with the worst father of the year. Niklaus. And our trusted and loyal bodyguard, Kenneth. Humph! I'm still angry at that snitch.

"So, what's the relationship between you and my son?" Niklaus asked to break the silence.

"Excuse you?" I acknowledged him rudely. Look at him getting all up and personal in my business, like we are friends or something. Sir, we don't know each other like that.

"I'm sorry. It wasn't my intention to offend you. I just wanted to get to know my son better. That's all." He chortled, a bit tensed. "What does he like and what he doesn't like? And I thought you two were together."

"No. We aren't together." I stopped him right there to clear up his misunderstandings. "Nik is just my boss, and I worked here. And aren't you his father? You should have known all that already."

"To be honest, I wasn't a good father to Nik," he voiced, a bit remorseful.

"I know. No wonder Nik hates you." Girl, your mouth.

"He told you that?" Niklaus seemed a bit troubled and hurt by my statement. And he should be. What father doesn't know their kid's likes and dislikes are? A crappy one, I tell you.

"No. But he told me what you did at his twelfth birthday party. That's a d*ck move."

"I know. But I was a different person back then." He sighed sadly.

"And you are a saint now?" I snorted.

"I wouldn't say that." Niklaus laughed briefly. "And man, Radnor was right. You have a damn mouth on you."
