Mae Mitzit, a recent divorcee, just purchased her dream home. On the Fourth of July Mae invites her new friend and neighbor Mrs. Tolbert, along with her grandson Solomon, over to watch fireworks.
However the only fireworks sparking aren't exclusive...

Pulling up to Lola's condominium, I sit. Steady, I take in a deep breath then look into my eyes in the rearview mirror saying, "Solomon, Lola is different. Be cool. Don't scare her off by being over aggressive. This is it. You found her, so relax. It's all good."
Still in the mirror, I give a huge grin, put a breath strip into my mouth, then exit my car. As soon as I ring the doorbell, the door instantly opens. Gah damn Lola looks good! Her sexy eyes light up as she grins my way. Returning a cool smirk I say, "What's up?"
"Hi! Do you want to come inside, or are we leaving now?"
I'm thinking, please baby, use better words. C'mon Solomon, get it together.
"Nah, I'm ready to go now."
With a nod, she grins saying, "Okay! Let me grab my jacket."
I watch as she walks to the back of her home. She's wearing a black, I guess it's a minidress. It's formfitting but not tight. It's showing all the right curves. Her toned thighs and legs make me lick my lips. Lola has this bounce in her step as she heads my way, still smiling. Her hair is in a messy bun and her lips are nice and glossy. I can tell she's wearing a little glistening makeup, but it looks natural on her. Now right in front of me, she says, "Okay, I'm ready."
Gazing down at her I say, "You look beautiful, Lola."
Face blushing, she replies, "Thanks King. So do you. We're matching. Ha! Ha!"
Unwilling to move, I continue watching her until she glances up. Her smile's fading. I'm making her uncomfortable, so I grin saying, "Cool. Let's go."
I take her to this restaurant called Sea Bound. It's actually a yacht. As we pull up to the dock entrance, she's like a kid on Christmas. Wide eyed, she sits up asking, "You got us reservations at Sea Bound? Impressive. My daddy can barely get a reservation here."
"So, you've been here before?"
"Mhmm. But it's my favorite restaurant in the world! Thanks King! Wait until I tell mommy you picked here! Well...yeah."
I'm tempted to ask, what's up with Mae? But I already know the answer, so I leave that alone.
Valet opens our doors, and we exit. The 75 guests boarding tonight form a line to enter. Lola's standing next to me, but she's deep in thought. I'm hesitant, but I to want touch her so bad. It's then I grab her waist saying, "Stand in front of me."
Instantly, she tenses up. I gently remove my hand saying, "Form a line woman. You did go to kindergarten, right?"
"Actually, I was homeschooled until seventh grade."
"Really? Why?"
"My daddy took me traveling a lot."
As we walk to our table everyone is staring as if we're celebrities. Lola whispers, "Why's everyone watching us?"
