"Miss Ava, witch collection has fallen behind," Olivia says, bowing in front of the pink-haired girl. "It's because those Wanderers and Supremecists keep getting in the way."
"It's ok, I've already spoken to the Wings about this," Ava replies. "We've adjusted our quota before this all happened, so technically, we're actually ahead of our quota." She shrugs with a smile. "Let's give ourselves a round of applause." Ava begins clapping, causing Olivia to stand up straight and begin clapping as well. "What else?"
"As you've ordered, Magius is staying out of conflict with the other magical girls as much as possible, but it's difficult when they interfere with our plans."
"Let them." Ava waves her fingers. "The lives of the Magius Girls Are worth more than some witch or uwasa."
"But, the Wings want to prioritise..." Olivia starts but is interrupted.
"I'm in charge here, and I say what we prioritise. Any blame will land squarely on me." Ava says.
"Of course." Olivia bows.
"You may go."
"One more thing." Olivia stands up straight. Ava faces Olivia fully, wondering what she's going to say. "Thank you."
As Olivia leaves, Ava moves a desk closer to her and opens up a laptop. She hits dial on the app, and it calls an unknown user.
"Hello, hello." Hiiragi's voice comes through. "That's how you say it in English, right?"
"Close enough." Ava smiles. "How's it coming along?"
"The doppel inhibitor? I'm still working out the kinks. There's an unexpected feature that I think will help. You are planning on using it against non-Magius members, yes?"
"Yes, I am."
"Great, that's less work for me."

"This Makayla girl, Are you sure you're not just being obsessive because she beat you?" A red cloaked figure says. She has short brown hair and brown eyes.
"No, she's dangerous, but if we can catch her early, we'll have access to unimaginable power," Alicia replies.
"I understand, but right now, we have bigger issues. Magius keeps getting in our way; the witches are growing stronger, and now these Supremacists." The girl sighs. "We haven't even seen this girl in months."
"She's hiding away somewhere," Alicia replies.
"Tell you what. If you find her, we'll make sure we get her. But make sure you can guarantee an ambush."
"Of course. She's fallen for it once. I doubt she has the brains to keep away again." Alicia says.

"So, you're that Kyubey that Makayla seems so fond of," Stella says.
"Correct," Kyubey responds.
"And why should we trust you?"
"Because it wasn't me who brought you that information. It was Makayla."
"Speaking of which, have you spoken to her."
"I have. I'm sorry I wasn't there. Maybe I could've prevented it." Kyubey says.
"No, I'm the leadership figure here. It should've been me." Stella says. "But the past is the past. I assume she opened up to you a bit more; how's she doing?"
"Not very well. She let a familiar get away because she was too panicked." Stella sighs.
"I know I put her on hiatus, but this can't go on forever."
"Give her time. She just needs a little push, and from the looks of things, she's about to get it." Kyubey says.
"How do you know?" Stella asks.
"I've gained the power of foresight." Kyubey joked. "In all seriousness, I do my own research. Makayla will be Just Fine."
"What happened to you? Who are you, and what have you done with the real Kyubey?"
"The real Kyubey Are the incubators who make contracts with magical girls. Although I can still do that, I've been removed from the network. I can already feel myself changing because of it."
"I don't know if I liked you better than or now. One thing's for sure, you're still creepy."
"Now, that's a little insulting."
