"So Maka you didn't stay long last night, were you feeling okay?" Kid rubbed my shoulder.

"I wasn't sick I was hungry, Soul took me to his aunt's inn for the night." I said stirring the straw of my milk shake.

"He made a move on you didn't he?" Kid asked me, he didn't look like he cared if he did.

"I couldn't stop him because he'd need an answer and you know I can't lie to him. He still doesn't know about us." I said nervously, not knowing his reaction.

"I estimated about a month and a half from the time we got together," He said, I nodded in response, "I'm surprised he waited almost three years after."

"Do you think he suspects anything, Kid?" I asked he shook his head.

"Are you sure because this is the first time he caught you taking me out, but we do hang out a lot." I said looking down. I became a little unsure of what we were doing.

"You're confused what to do, Liz and Patty are wondering where I'm going and all. Do you think we're doing the right thing at all?" He asked. I shook my head.

"We're not telling our best friends the biggest secret." I said leaning back on the wall behind me.

"It's getting late, do you need me to walk you home?" He asked, I shook my head still puzzled.

"I'll see you in class tomorrow then, have a goodnight and be home before 11 please. He stood up placing a ten on the table before cupping my face and kissing my forehead and beginning to walk away. I stood up and grabbed his hand, pulling him back.

"Maka, I have to go." He whined winking wrapping his arm around me.

"Perfect timing then." I said pulling his face to mine. Our lips touched, the kiss lasted for thirty seconds at least before he pulled away blushing.

"Gee that was pretty good Maka, he said blushing real bad. I laughed kissing his cheek before gently shoving him.

"Get home Kid, see you tomorrow." I said. I felt my cheeks were burning like the sun. He waved goodbye before leaving into the dark and I fell into the chair, letting out a breath.
