"So Kira how long are you planning to stay here?" I heard Soul day outside my closed, tired eyes. It has been 2 months of Kira sleeping on our couch and quite honestly I'm getting really annoyed with her always being lovey with my boyfriend.

"Until you come home." She said I sat up slowly looking at Soul.

"You can't do that." He said sternly then slowly lifted his eyes to me while Kira looked down at her food.

"Why not?" She said still looking down at her plate, I shook my head.

"Because you have to attend school and you can't just leave your partner like that." Soul said nodding slightly and focusing back at Kira. We didn't tell anyone back at school, only Kid knew but I trust him not to say anything.

"But I want to be with you, I can't stand being away from you any more than I already have." She wined. Yup I jut cracked, I stood up in Soul's sweatpants and a crop top and glare at Kira.

"Well you're going to have to try because you're going home tonight." My bun fell behind my head as I walked over standing behind Soul and resting my arm on his shoulder.

"Maka this isn't just your place it's Soul's too and quite honestly I don't think it's fair that you're keeping him all to yourself. You're totally jealous because I can express my feelings." Kira retorted back.

"Hell yeah I'm jealous because you keep trying to make moves on him. I'm kicking you out so you're leaving now!" I felt my face flush slightly but I don't care I just want her gone.

"Why do you care you're not his girlfriend you're only his partner. Besides I doubt he'd like someone like you" She sneered.

"That's not true Kira." Soul said calmly.

"You're damn right it's not." I said suddenly calm and sitting on his lap.

"Soul what the hell is she talking about?" Kira stood up.

"Kira I'm sorry I couldn't tell you we decided to keep it confidential from the academy students." Soul paused as she just stared at him so he continued, "but you were right about one thing, I don't like her," he paused looking at me, "I love her."

"How long has this been going on between you two?" She said leaning back into the chair.

"We've been dating for almost 7 months but I've loved he for years." He said smiling at me.

"So you never had a thing for me?" Kira said a bit annoyed.

"Don't get me wrong, I was quite find of you. But I thought of you more like my younger sister." He said with a bit of blush and a laugh.

"I see, I'm going to get going then since you're such a bastard to not say anything." She laughed grabbing her stuff and walking quickly out. It was silent then Soul kissed my cheek.

"So you were jealous?" He asked smiling.

"Maybe, just a little bit," I paused as Soul gave me a look, "okay maybe a lot."

"That's so hot." He whispered kissing me.

"Shut up." I stood up and took my hair out letting it fall to my lower back. I felt his arms wrap around me.

"I would never let you go, even if obstacles get in our way like other people, I'm never going to let you get away from me." He whispered hugging me tightly.
