"Maka can you stay with me another night?" Soul asked me as I pulled out of the blanket.
"I can't I've got a test tomorrow." I said pulling my hair back into pigtails.
"Can't you take it anther time?" He asked sitting up just a bit.
"I'm not excused from it." I said laying him back down on his pillow.
"Right." He said.
"I was supposed to meet with Tsubaki in the library to study for Doctor Stein's test ten minutes ago." I said picking up my phone and dialing her number. It started ringing.
"I'll stop by later to say goodnight." I said kissing his forehead. Tsubaki picked up as soon as I started walking to the door.
"Hey Tsubaki, sorry I got distracted and didn't watch the time." I said winking at Soul as he threw his arms up in confusion before I walked out the door.
"That's okay, Maka, I'll see you in a bit!" She said happily.
"Okay bye!" I said hanging up and leaned against the door.
"I would stay another night with you." I whispered then hurried off to the library with my bag and phone in hands.
