"Maka wake up, we're here." Soul said, I wasn't sleeping but I still kept my eyes closed.

"I see, now come on I want to get to the apartment." I said standing quickly, not the best decision especially after seven hours of flying my head pounded.

"Slow down Maka you're going to hurt yourself." Soul said steadying me while I clenched my head.

"Shut up." I said smiling at him, he laughed back at me.

"I've got your bag so just hold on to me okay?" He said kissing my cheek.

"I'm good Soul, I can handle myself." I started walking away but got dizzy quickly.

"Feeling dizzy?" He laughed grabbing my waist.

"Careful with your hands mister." I said moving it up a little.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't make a move on you until you're ready." He said kissing me lightly.

"Such a man." I said teasingly. We waited in baggage claim for a half an hour in silence but I still hung on him and he on me.

"Do you know what the apartment is like?" I asked nestling my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah it was in the overview Stein had us pick up before we left." He looked at me smiling.

"What? What does it look like?" I asked.

"It's quite a beautiful place it over looks some of the city. It's only one room but it's completely furnished and spacey too so it'd be fine for just the two of us." The driver stopped on the side of the road in front of a brick building, damp by the sprinkle. We had the top apartment which was the third floor and the building had no elevator so the cabbie helped bring it up. Once Soul paid the guy and he left we stood at the door looking at the open room. I wrapped my arms around Soul's waist, pulling him really close, and he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

"How does our new home feel?" He asked looking around. The floor was a dark hardwood and the walls were a light blue, there was only one queen bed that sat against the right wall. The small sectional cornered the tv in the closest right corner to the door, which sat in the middle of the wall. The kitchen was big enough in the closest left corner, with a small table for two off to the side, and in the farthest left corner were two dressers separated by a shutter screen.

"It's perfect." I said looking up and kissing his neck.

"I am going to go to bed and you're coming with me." He said picking me up. I slept in his T-shirt and my underwear and he slept in his boxers shirtless. It was the best sleep I've ever gotten.
