The Last Chapter

"Are you sure you guys can't stay for one more day?" Macy asked.

"We have to get home, it's been too long and we've about ran out of American money." Soul said hugging her at the gate while I waited behind him.

"And you missy better take good care of this boy," Macy said pointing at Soul, "And that goes for you too Soul, take care of your wife and don't get her pregnant before she's ready!" Soul's face instantly went red with embarrassment.

"Don't worry, I won't." I laughed hugging her.

"Bye Aunt Macy!" Soul and I waved as we boared the plane. It's been two weeks since we got married, it's my birthday today and I have to spend it on a plane for over ten hours. I don't mind as long as I'm with my husband. The plane landed in London around four twenty in the morning. The time change is screwing me! We got home around five thirty and I crashed in my leggings and Soul's sweatshirt. I woke up sometime around eight at night, looking around I realize it was only me home. The door knob turned and Soul came in with a bunch of brown paper bags.

"I had to go grocery shopping we didn't have anything. Sorry to leave you." He said sliding in bed next to me, moving my braid out of the way so he didn't lay on it.

"That's okay." I mumbled stuffing my face into his grey sweatshirt he was wearing.

"We did it Maka, we got married and we're living a normal life. I can't believe it but we made it." He smiled holding my tired body tight.

"So much effort put into something worth it always results in the best outcome." I said wrapping my arms around his torso.

"How did I know you were going to say something really smart and intelligent." He laughed.

"Hey, it's me!" I giggled back smiling.

"And I wouldn't perfer it any other way." I felt him kiss the top of my head before I fell asleep again, smiling in his arms. Exactly the way it will always be.
